And that would be fun out of the box. First thing I did was try the dunk contest. I was Lebron and the other 3 were computer controlled. While my dunks pretty much sucked, the thing I saw the computer do were amazing and the judges commentary was amazing. I only played it for 10 minutes or so as im like a kid on Christmas, open a present, go oh wow, and move on to the next present. Then I decide to play a game without adjusting any settings. I was the Cavs and I played the Nets. It was a really fun game all the way through. I scored the first 9 points of the game with Lebron and thought this game was going to be a cake walk but Jason Kidd took over and brought them right back in the game. It stayed close the whole game and I won by 5 in the end. Heres my reason why its fun out of the box.
Didnt have to adjust anything. I hate using Sliders as they eventually ruin the game as I start to tinker with them more than enjoying the game. This happened with Madden this year and I traded it in.
Never once felt cheated. Didnt scream at the game like I did last year after missing a wideopen 5 footer.
Realistic stats. Well the final score was 50-45 so I pretty much doubled the stats and they came out really good. I shot 47% FG's and the Nets shot 45%. I had a total of 23 rebounds and 5 of those were Offensive. The CPU was around the same. The Nets had 15 turnovers (Kidd tried to drive alittle too much sometimes) to my 7. I went 3-9 from the 3-point line and the cpu went 2-8. Umm, thats all I can remember for now. I still havnt tried out much of this game, thats just my impressions from one game. I play sports games alot and the fact that I thought it was really enjoyable out of the box makes me feel good about this game.
PS - They fixed the pro-hop. No more using it everytime!
