Tips on beating the cpu on higher difficulties
I am having trouble doing a silver mastery challenge in live. it is on superstar difficulty and i am having trouble getting the defense to move. 2k did the same thing where it seems like they just keep the defense as close to the paint as possible and they dont move. the problem is on the harder difficulty levels they turn down the shot percentage so the open shots given dont fall.

It is tough. I feel that making sure you run a set play on offense every time works. I also call a lot of screens.

Re: Tips on beating the cpu on higher difficulties
I disagree about your shot percentages. The biggest thing about superstar is the effect on the CPU shot percentages. They make many more shots than on the lower difficultyit is harder to get to the rim which is why I like it. I think the biggest challenge is defence more than offence imo.Last edited by Calvenn; 12-07-2015, 02:03 AM.Comment

Re: Tips on beating the cpu on higher difficulties
Defense is definitely the issue. There is nowhere near as much control or impact you can have on D.
But those harder modes in LUT are almost cheating. The CPU doesn't miss for the most part.
I stand a chance when I double team them at the right moment. If you can pick up on who you think is going to shoot, send the double (even if the second defender doesn't quite get there, the game thinks he has) it lowers the shot %.
And as said above, on offense, lots of screens for easy rolls to the hoop and open threes if you get one guy hot.Comment

Re: Tips on beating the cpu on higher difficulties
This is spot on and aligns with my observations as well on Superstar level. It actually appears as if the human players have a ratings boost as well, at least on offence, perhaps to keep things more even on that level. The defense is better for the cpu no doubt, however, the cpu has this constant fixation of driving into the paint for almost every basket.Comment

I believe so though it may have improved some.after.the latest patch. I've been impressed with the mid range shooting on All Star, really can tell the difference. Give it a.shot at least for validation/comaprison reasons and let us know what you findComment
