I need help with fast breaks

I am really struggling to run fast breaks on Live 2005. It seems as though everytime I have an opportunity to run the break, my player will turn around to catch the ball instead of catching it in stride. By the time I make it down to the other side of the court, it's too late to complete the break.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Also, does anyone know if there's an option to turn substitutions on auto? If there is, I sure haven't been able to find it.

I noticed that they do stop a lot, but if you press the ball advance button, you can still have a lot of success running the fastbreak. I believe it's the black button on the Xbox. This works for me greatly, unless of course the defense gets back to stops me.

This is huge, I started doing it today and it lead to a lot of easy fast break baskets.

On the break, first get the ball to your guard, then use the off-ball control (click down the left analog) and run the floor that way. You can call for the pass when you're in positon. The fast breaks work a lot better this way because if you don't do this the other guys just stop.

Try to get the hang of this and let me know if it works for you.

I guess the best way is to Use the Off the ball switch mentioned above. My friend used to do that a lot in 2004. The only you could stop his fast break was to intentionally foul him.

^ L2, this was on live 2004 and alot of people didn't even know. They kept passing with X, if you start a break pass with L2 its what better.
