the new animations are great. the block off the backboard is enough for me, how many times do you see a shot pinned? not that often.

Lots of nice animations this year. But there are some funky ones too. Seeing big, oafish seven footers like Divac attempt a double-clutch reverse layup is a tad unbelievable.

I think LIVE has the best animations of any baskeball game to date. I love the dunk animations a lot too.

There's something so simple but it looks so natural.

When inbounding the ball after a made basket and your PG is running (before he receives the inbounds pass), when he catches it on the run, he'll do a little skip animation that looks so freakin sweet.

If you ever play with Phoenix, you'll swear that's really Steve Nash because that's exactly how he does it.

It would have been cool if they that skip animation happened on a pass reception in off-the-ball control mode. It would have made fast breaks much more fluid than they are. Not sure why EA didn't do that.

hmm just found out something in practice mode

when in-game, PRESS the right analog and the guy will throw the ball off the backboard. you can then hit the dunk button for a t-mac jam :P
