Try to get Devin Harris. I think he'd be a better fit then Gordon.

I sure wouldn't complain if they pulled that one off in real life!

What's so weird in the game is how good Seattle is now - Raef is one of the top 4 or 5 centers in the West, and a starting rotation of Payton, Allen, Flip Murray, Radmonovic and Raef is a serious amount of shooters for anyone to contend with.

I know that wouldn't sacrifice their cap room in real life in a trade like this but they are reaping the short trm benifits in the game. I'll let you know if Seattle continues on their current pace (they are 14 and 3 since the trade! - I am 10-5 but my long term potential is sky high).

Seattle wouldnt take Payton back if their life depended on it. He is a whiner complainer and has a big mouth.

I know it wouldn't fly in real life because of personalities. However, in the game a good player (like Payton or Ricky) is just a good player. In real life I wouldn't want any of the JailBlazers on my team but in the game I'd take most of them in a trade without thinking twice.

There are no "off the court issues" (and based on 2K5, they shouldn't try to simulate them) so I don't have to worry about personalities. Payton makes Seattle a much better team, with the bonus of coming off their cap at the end of the year so they're more likely to be able to resign Ray Allen.

It's nice to be able to play a game where everyone lives up to their talent level - if only the NBA players could be professional enough to follow suit!
