    What's new in Franchise mode?

I've seen a number of people say that Live's franchise mode "kills" ESPN's. I wasn't all that impressed with Live's franchise mode last year, and actually preferred 2k3's to it (believe it or not), so I'm curious as to what's new with 2005? I know All-Star Weekend is in, a nice addition, and I believe I read the draft is improved, but what else has been changed or improved?

I won't have my copy until it comes out for the PC later this month.

Players actually get better quickly (ex. Pavel Podkolzine is a 46 default, i played him b/c i hate Bradley and Both, and the next season he was a 60 ovr. I started him that year, and the season following that hes a 74 ovr now.

Yeah it seems like everything has been built from the ground up and presented in a whole new way, but i still think madden has been the only sports game to get email right.

Nice. Player progression based on PT is definitely a good thing.

                        That's enough for me.

I haven't touched Live's franchise yet, but I've read good things, and your post is encouraging.

Finally, a basketball that is both enjoyable to play and solid in the franchise department.
