Aside from the few missing face scans I'm actually happy with the game now. I've been pretty quiet about my opinion the last couple of months regretting my pre-order, but the game is coming around slowly.

I was in the process of responding in a similar manner and agree. However, because of a lack of notification, it means we have to automatically check for these fixes after patches have been released. It's what it is I guess. Good to see they are doing something about it.

I agree all of this should've been running day one, but since it wasn't I'm not sure why they don't tell us. Makes me think other things get fixed and they just don't tell us. Gameplay feels smoother to me, but since they say nothing I'm stuck questioning if it's legit or a placebo

Frame rates have gone up exponentially on the ps4. Probably are taking advantage of the additional core now.

The choppiness improved a bit a few patches ago, but in doing so, they had to lower the level of detail.

The hair is now noticeably lower quality at gameplay camera views. You can see it most clearly on guys like Embiid and Griffin. Embiid is all sharp and chunky and Griffin is just a ball of puff from regular views. Zoom in and you can see if increase in quality.

It's a bit disappointing because some guys are less visibly noticeable on court when their hair isn't as detailed. The new hair detail also slightly flickers during replays.

Not the best option for improving frame rates but I guess it isn't noticed by most.
