I would definately use the dunk contest and Franchise mode, so how are these 2 modes and is the game good enough to warrant a $40 purchase? Thanks.

Is it worth it?
I bought 2k5 (ESPN) the day it came out and I'm pretty happy with it. Isomotion is pretty bad (except the drop and forward step), the lack of a defensive crouch and the average franchise mode definately hurts the game (but worth $20 IMO), so I was wondering if Live is really worth my $40.

Re: Is it worth it?
worth every penny and more IMO ...
I have both but Live seems to be getting more of my time, because better controls and animations ... ESPN is the real deal but the lack of a stance button makes defense seem like a chore not fun, again IMO...
both have pro's and cons but to awnser your question yes Live is worth 40 bucks.Benjamin D of Insufficient Funds -

Originally posted by p2xgamersYeah, the defense is only fun if you control the Center in 2k5 (IMO). Though I'm not sure how you can say the animations in live are better than 2k5...(seen video of live)
I should say more fluid, even though ESPNs gaphics are amazing baring the next movement it looks robotic, as live is more lifelike and animated IMHO
but you cant go wrong with EA or VC this year when it comes to b-ballBenjamin D of Insufficient FundsComment
