Memphis is rated what they should be this year, In my Street & Smith's mag they good got Memphis a 88 for final grade. So there are many people who think they are going to be better this year.

but arent ratings based on the previous season?

Of course they're going to have a very high overall rating, their roster is 12 man deep. most of their bench players could be starters on other teams.

Yup, thats how they rate teams, the more good bench players you have, the better rating the team will have.

yea, that explains a few of the top teams having low overall ratings. Indiana, Houston just to name a couple that are poor overall but are tough as heck to beat and get good records overall.
