Me and my friend have started a franchise with the Bulls. The thing is, we play on the same team. So far into the season, we are 1-7, with our only win coming vs. the Clippers. I honestly think that this is much better than a multiplayer franchise. Also, the fast-break problem is much less apparent as now most of the time I have a real person running the break more accurately. With that said, it has been tough going so far with our team.
In the season opener, we were down 23 at half-time to New Jersey. In the 4th, we got as close as 4 with 1:30 left, but couldn't pull out the win. We were up by 10 with 3:00 to go against the Nuggets, but lost the lead, and the game. And probably the worst loss of all was a DOUBLE OT THRILLER to the Kings. We were down 6 with about 20 seconds left in regulation. Ben Gordon nails a miracle 3 with two guys in his face. (i say miracle because I realeased the shot way too early so thats what made it even sweeter when it dropped). Kirk Hinrich then proceeds to steal the inbounds ala Reggie Miller, steps back takes the three, misses it but gets fouled and makes all 3 of the shots, yet we still went on to lose it. It sucks that we've lost so many heartbreaking games this year, but every game is fun. Running the two man game with me in the post as Curry/Chandler kicking it out to him as Gordon/Hinrich is absolute fun. Hopefully we can put some things together and go on a run.
