    Rebounding in Pro-Am Mode

Do ppl feel like patches have improved rebounding, especially in Pro-Am?

Rebounding can be frustrating because it feels arbitrary after patches. My player has rebounding ratings in high 90s, but even he blocks out and positions himself well, he still loses some rebounds to shorter players with mediocre rebounding ratings.

There's a delay when you hit the button, you have to jump as soon as the ball hits the rim to have the edge...once you figure out the timing you'll see a difference...

Thanks, 24th. Even when I time my jump, I still feel like there's rebounding cheese. It's not as bad as pre-patch rebounding, but rebounding still sometimes feels arbitrary

I have a 94 Superstar PF and yea I feel like the rebounding has gotten better.

I just feel like they don't have the animation disparity to separate the elite rebounders from the mediocre. One thing I have noticed though (With blocks) is that if you hold R2/Turbo while blocking you tend to go for more powerful and harder blocks, maybe it's the same with rebounding, I have to try it out.

Like 24th said you have to time your jumps. your not going to snatch boards like rodman did. you just have to jump at the right time. why i enjoy being a center in pro am. I dont get many scoring opportunities but i can get all the boards i can eat.
I find standing on the line or just outside the line is the best spot to grab boards. most people crowd the paint but since you cant really snatch its pointless to stand there.

the upgrade skills and rating's mean nothing in this game, i cant tell if ea was serious with this game or what, but its just chaos online..doesnt matter which mode its all just randomness

Yeh post patches rebounding has gotten better. I agree there's no separation for elite rebounders.

Someone told me they think rim protectors have a built-in advantage in rebounding over post scorers. Anyone heard the same or got it confirmed?

Worstsportsgamer1977, doesn't it seem like even smalls with entry-level sometime rebound ratings snatch rebounds they shouldn't? It's gotten somewhat better post patch, but still.

I believe rebounding and, more generally, postplay much improved in the 2/11 patch for NBA Live 16.

My center (post scorer) with 99 offensive rebounding and 98 defensive rebounding is more often grabbing boards when he blocks out and gets good position. I believe I saw a new animation where he actually grabbed a board in the air, somewhat a la Dennis Rodman.

                    What are other people seeing?
