anybody else notice...

Is it me....or unless you get a hand up on the computer....its damn near guranteed?

I play against Miami often...and I swear...they made Rasual Butler a little too good or something. I mean unless you block or get right in his face when shooting a jumper...he's damn near automatic? I mean Shaq dominates every time I play...but ive noticed this with other teams besides Miami. It seems like whoever has any sort of ability to hit a jumpshot will knock them down no matter what kind of defense you play. Meanwhile, I OFTEN miss wide open three pointers with guys with the the 3 Ball icon next to their name. All the sliders are the same...and its hard to explain what i really want to get across...but i just feel like the computer's jumper is a little too good.

I totally agree and have the same problem...

Switching shot control from USER to CPU helped me a bit so that I don't have to worry about the timing of my shot anymore.

More gripes...

I find it incredibly gay that players still stop and jump up in the air to catch passes.

But what kills me is that sometimes when they jump...they do what they SHOULD do...and they jump IN STRIDE and are still in position to score or finish on the break. Why must they tease us? Why put the right and wrong thing in the game together...who the hell is testing games for EA?

And i also HATE the frikkin "float" passes. Those are so stupid. Those little soft baby one handed float passes. Just throw a damn chest pass.

And the GOT DAMN SLIDING.....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I find it incredibly gay that players still stop and jump up in the air to catch passes.

But what kills me is that sometimes when they jump...they do what they SHOULD do...and they jump IN STRIDE and are still in position to score or finish on the break. Why must they tease us? Why put the right and wrong thing in the game together...who the hell is testing games for EA?

THey stop and jump to catch it because the pass was to high and too strong.
It's too strong becaus the pass was long or the passer isnt very good. This happens in real life. there are some passes that you can't just catch while running.

you can't just fastbreak every time you rebound the ball.

Pick your spots. try to start you fastbreak through steals and blocks.



ABout the other post. i HAte the CPU jumpers. i always get beat by buzzer beaters. They just hold on to the ball then shoot it in my face for the win.
