Re: So....
Re: So....
It would be difficult to do it with Live's current system of separating players globally, but it would be nice if you could still import from March Madness. One of the best things to do over the past few years in various games has been to recruit a guy out of high school, play with him through college and then watch him go through the pros. If it's not in the game I think it's just because of the difficulties that would come in placing the MM players into their global region(and it would have to load the draft class at the beginning of the season). That would involve changing the coding in March Madness so it sends the proper info into Live, as well as making Live know how to handle it.Originally posted by JisticI guess it would be kinda pointless to do draft class imports in basketball. I mean with the influx of players from over seas to high schoolers, there is no point. It's much different than football.
In the best case, Live would load a MM class at the beginning of the season and simply add the MM players into the pool with the already-created Live scouting class, or replace the american players with the MM. They would have to redo the projections, and it will be quite of a bit of players(probably enough for 2 drafts), but in the best case, that would be very nice to see. All of the known college players, but also some unknown internationals that might be as good or better.Comment

Re: So....
See thats the problem. Lately, a lot of good players have been coming from overseas. Its getting almost 50/50. When you throw in the high school players that dont go to college it gets worse. I know you said 'well known' college players but truth be told, unless you watch college bball religiously you wont know them.
For EA to figure out how to use MM imports and create international players and high schoolers would be quite a feat though.Comment

Yea, next year might be the most foreign heavy draft yet. 5 of the top 7 or 8 guys might be foreign unless some college or HS guys explode this year. It's considered a weak draft and if some guys stay in school it may be all foreigners in the top 5. Definitely a good move by Live to use their new system of generating draft players, but it brings up more problems with importing.Originally posted by charles167See thats the problem.
