The momentum in this game is awesome

I think this is one of the best things about Live 2005. I'm not sure if it was in 2004 because I honestly never had to think and play smart to maintain a lead. But this year is totally different.

I started my season with the Nets down 0-2. Losing to the Heat and Bulls. I took it for what its worth because the Nets' roster sucks and I figured I would be looking at a bunch of losses in the future. My next game against the Suns saw me down by 21 in the third. I then decided to really try and play smart to see if there was anyway in hell to make a decent comeback. After a few defensive stops and answering back with a couple of high percentage shots in the paint, I was really feeling the momentum swing to my side. Suddenly Nash wasn't knocking down his 3's, and Marion wasn't hitting his top of the key jumper that was killing me throughout the first half. On the offensive end I started getting a good flow going as well. RJ started knocking down 3's, Travis Best was driving and dishing to Eric Williams and Mercer for the easy jumper. It just came so much easier, and I ended up winning by 8.

Next game I started to fall behind early again. Down 17 at the half, I came back to win by one on the last shot of the game by Travis Best. Its such a pleasure to play the AI when there is nothing in the game that you think is cheap or some secret comeback AI, which I don't think exists at all.

I loved the game last week when I totally sucked, but now that I am getting better and learning to play more realistically, I love the game much more.

LOL yeah, I was using my TO's to end whatever run they were going on. And it felt good to knock down a three and have the AI call a TO to stop my momentum.

I'm spending most my time on ESPN...

I got both games the same day and I found the controls hard to master switching back and forth between the two games. I settled on ESPN for the better game pace and, most importantly, authentic play sets. After ID04 spoiled us all, i *need* authentic play sets.

LIVE 05 is excellent though from the time I played...

Are you switching teams from dynamic etc???

Do you see genuine team specific type plays / team styles?

                    Story of my life.

For some reason in each game, I get out of the box like a 2 legged-horse and shoot horribly in the 1st Quarter finding myself in a hole. Then slowly but surely I come back. Even if I don't pull it out in the end and get the W, I tighten the game up.

Switching constantly from Man-To-Man to Zone and doubling the hot CPU player.

                    Comebacks are so, so gratifying!
