Re: anyone getting really good rookies
I was able to get a 7'3 rookie who can shoot from the perimeterhe was a late 1st round prospect. i just saw that he was 7'3 so i flew him in for a workout against dampier.( I was using the memphis grizzlies and i traded Wells and Wright for Damp). I couldnt score from a post up with him against damp. then i started shooting from the perimeter in his face. my jaw dropped. he was rated a 48 when i drafted him.

Re: anyone getting really good rookies
Yeah I had a 7'0'' small forward ...
I first seen him like around the all-star break so I had to trade a couple solid players and my first rounder to get a lottery pick to snag him ...
I ended up getting him at 8, he turned out to be 59 which is pretty decent, did the training camp all offense, he then went up to 61 ...
forced him to start over D-miles who was rated 70 at the time ...
he in turn averaged 17 points 6 boards 2 assists 2 blocks ... shot like 41 % from the field and 37 % percent from three point range ...
he went up to 68 the next season, the rookies can blossom, some may be projects at first but dont Larry Brown Itand give your rookie some burn, you never know he might be your go to guy ...
