Self Alley In All Star Game

Can any one help. I can throw an alley to my self in an exhibition all star game, but in a dynasty mode all star game I cant. Any one esle having this problem?

Im having the same problem. Cant seem to do it in dynasty mode. I even changed the sliders from simulation to action thinking that was the problem, but no dice. Every time I click in the rt-stick, it goes to off-ball control
