Why Live didn't get over the hump

It bothers me that EA still has not fixed some problems with live, for example the computer still makes bogus shots with your man right in their face. Im talkin about the m makin shots with people like Najera. You attempt the same shot with Carmelo Anthony and you get nothing but the back of the rim or the side of the back board. I say these happen only in superstar mode though. Plus the computer still has players that are 50 times faster than you and beat you down the court, their pro-hop still moves people like Shaq even when sam cassell is doin it. And the biggest problem is that when your on a fast break the players on your team slide down the court as slow as possible. These are problems that if they fixed Live would own the court. I saw attempts but they didn't do a good job. At least you can hit the mid-range jumper again like in Live 2003. Oh well tell me what you think.

Re: Why Live didn't get over the hump

That sideways slow motion sliding up the court by your teammates while trying to run a fastbreak, actually killed it for me this year. I thought that was corrected, but apparently I was wrong. Also, the ability of an offensive player to push my man back like sliding boxes across the floor really annoyed me to no end that I just gave up.

I really like the direction that EA is going with the series, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Live is definately better this year, and I will be looking at the PC version, and hoping that some of these issues are addressed in that version, though I highly doubt it since both versions were exactly the same last year. But if anyone has any good info on the PC version, I would sure like to hear it.

        .
I agree, it's making a lot of progress...but some blatant things still need 'fixing'.

Personally, I don't play ASW...so i'd rather they'd have left that out and improved the issues you mentioned. The 'zombie' effect as you move up court remains...

It's heading in the right direction though.
