Motion capture is fine and all (still play Live '16) but, as it has been mentioned earlier, gameplay modes need to be deeper and more fleshed out especially Dynasty mode.

Gameplay is nowhere near NBA 2K's but if they can continue to make strides there then NBA Live '17 will be in great shape next year moving forward for the series as a whole.

Live team has been using, and showing mo-cap models on the web since they've been putting the cover athletes on. As someone mentioned earlier, I also hope the move to Frostbite 3 will resolve some of the "issues" noted over the series, and increase the physical and visual accuracy of the game. I also agree Live's main issue was the lack of modes and editing on almost all levels(I like synergy and hope it stays in some form in 17). On the court, i love the game play, but it was late game AI for me, as my main issue(hope its fixed in 17)outside of the lack of online league play.The Late game issue has gotten better over time, but still happens at the "wrong" time.

The programmers need to not allow animations to break at any keyframe, because its kills any semblence of "realistic human movement" All that spastic stuff happening.

The "spastic" movements come from spastic joystick play from what I've personally experienced with Live, especially when transitioning from playing 2k. I think Live offers a bit more precision on moves on the floor though. Its not perfect but I prefer it to not being able to adjust to the situation, or break out of a long animation at will.

I wonder if the frostbite engine will be utilized in this game. I think it could go either way. It's going to be in FIFA and more than likely Madden 18. The animations need a big time overhaul in this so I think either way that's the focus.

17 will for sure feel and move better in my opinion. I also believe they will have the ability to edit players, rosters, and equipment.

Did anyone notice Live had a roster updated dated 7-7? It moved has the Chicago/NY trade and the OKC/Orlando trade. I wonder if they will continue to update periodically throughout the off season

They should. Since the game is delayed it would be awesome for the fans who want to rock the players on the new teams. For the life of me I can't get the Mavs roster right in Dynasty. I was able to get Barnes and Curry on the roster. No luck with Bogut.

But a product model for the future.

A.2 year release cycle. Release "packs" containing. Uniforms, Courts and logos, Roster(including rookies). Maybe even a added commentary pack and new animations pack.
Charge $6.99 a pack or $20.00 for a all in one

B. ability to edit rosters (and share)

I mean it's not rocket science. These game developers are acting like they are trying to re invent the wheel!. Truth is that we have had all of this in previous consoles and games (some over 10 years old).

if they were smart, they would bring in a new team, and implement a 3 year plan to restore live to its former glory...
