Gameplay getting old?

Gameplay in Live 2005 is a lot better than in 2004. It's a lot more balanced.
This is the Best NBA Live ever.
I've had a great time playing it the 1st few weeks.

But once you've mastered and discovered all the techniques and tricks it seems that the gameplay starts to get old really quick.
It's just like 2004 with less frustration and less cheat moves.

I played 2004 to the ground and this may be the reason that im getting tired of it.

As a result I've been playing a lot of ESPN 2k5 lately and it's not because i think that it's better. In fact there's a lot of things that i don't like about it, especially the AI. It's just that it's feels new to me.

Maybe it's because of the beautiful ESPN post game.
(I may just be disappointed with LIve's post play. other than the "jordan shake" in the post and drop step, nothing has really been added. add to this the stupid out of bounds calls when you try to force a shot from the post which are very frustrating. )

But those who never played Live 2004 are in for a real treat!

I wish EA would be able to make significant improvements/changes in the gameplay next year. FOrget about the extra stuff.
They even admitted that skating couldnt be eliminated because of the gameplay engine. They should start thinking about creating a better one.

hmmm well i played 2004 and im not bored of 2005. so idk what to tell u but its def not gettin old to me. maybe u shouldnt play it as much as u r

I've only played about 20 games so I haven't gotten tired of it yet. I usually get tired around the 2nd season of my dynasty.

hmmm...

Its weird coz i like playing against the CPU this time more than the HUman Players.

The 2 player experience is actually the one that starts to feels like Live 2004 after a lot of games. My buddies and I play it ever other night from 8pm to 2 am. Once you have figured it out it doesnt matter which team you use as long as you have the essential player specialty icons.

I know what you mean about gameplay...but that usually happens to me for a lot of games - I have the initial excitement where I paly everyday for a few weeks -- then out of the blue, I hit a wall and I don't want to touch the game. So just put it down and come back to it in a week - problem solved.

Well, I played 2004 to death and I love 05 more and more each game.

Thats how I was feeling too, but as I play it more, it is getting a BIT old. Im not really getting much of a challenge. I never feel like the cpu just beats me anymore. SOMETIMES they win, but it seems as though everything goes their way when it does. (four-point plays, bail-me out fouls, lucky 3's w/time winding down etc. etc...)I dont really feel as though the cpu flat-out beats me and wins consistently anymore. Im still on all-start using basically Pared's sliders.. but i dunno.... i need a bit of a challenge. The onle thing that kinda sucks in this game is the ability to dominate down low with Big men. Whats particularly effective is to use a guy like Eddy Curry and use off-ball control to get into the hole then just have my pg dump it off into the inside for either an easy score or a foul call 75% of the time.
