Why is Live harder to play online then 2k5?

In espn I won 7 straight games with a record of 12-14.. In NBA live I'm 2-26.. Its tougher to drain shots & noticed that its easier to cheese in live aswell.. It doesn't help that we get generic off/def plays.. No defensive match ups etc.. That really ties one arm behind my back when on D.. & most of the gamers I play think basketball is all about throwing the inbound pass to mid court, making a spin move then dunking the ball.. Basketball is a game of strategy not mindless button mashing..

that means you need to learn how to stop all of that...

Play better D... Use Quarter Court, or 2-3 zone...

then invite em into the lane and SWAT the Crap out of there shot..

I use the charge button to block the lane & block like 6-7 shots a game.. I use halfcourt man to man & 2-3.. Only thing that mildy helps is to double team the person driving to the hoop, but its hard to protect against the speed burst spin moves, especially with Nash..
