    Very irritating and Un-NBA like

Okay, I am having a good time with this game so far, but one thing that is really getting on my nerves is the on-the-ball defense. Its like the guys just stick to me completely. No matter how good of a ball-handler I have, the defensive guy will stay within half a foot of me, and just stick to me like glue. This is very unrealistic, and is getting on my nerves.

Another thing is that when the computer decides it wants to come back on you, it cheeses its way back in. I'm using Pared's 1.1 sliders. Other than those two things, it is a blast to play, but if that keeps up, I'm going to be upset.

    Any advice, or solutions?

Pared new sliders i think have addressed the on ball defense.

plus to stop the cpu comeback you will have to use your timeouts, switch your defense and try to get a defensive stop. i have seen that if you stop them in their run and then score, the momentum swings a lil back in your favor.

    just my $0.02

Thanks bro. Good to see you posting again. I will try that out. I have been using my Timeouts when they start that crap, but so far to no avail. The defender will literally push me out of bounds, and by the time they inbound the ball, my guys aren't even set up yet. Very ignorant in my opinion and cheap nonetheless.

I will see about Pared's new sliders.

You also have to switch up defenses from time to time. Go from Man to Zone occasionally. Also, try to not double team a player until you feel he is killing your team. Usually you can tell who the hot hand is by the 3rd quater. The cpu will then decide to go to someone else and he'll eventually light you up. But if its a non-superstar, you can count on a few misses here and there. The TOs help also when you feel them making a run.

I have'nt found a solution for the butt-raping Defense just yet.

also when you turn the ball over instead of waiting for your team to get set up in a defense.....choose the defense everytime doen to get them set up.

to have your team set the defense up a lil faster (my opinion) call a different defense and call the correct one.

example.....they take the ball out after you score, you call a 2-3 zone, then call a half court trap.

in order to get them back for a full court press, call F/C press twice.

                it works for me.

I think i set the CPU to 15 (pared has 27) and that seemed a little easier and more realistic. The thinkg that kills me is the 4th quarter in away games. The CPU is killing me. guys that sucked all game hitting threes, i miss open looks, etc. i think when playing away games the game sort of magnifies the momentum factor. so if you miss two and the game makes two it gets even harder. is this the NBA? maybe but it still pisses me off when my 96 rated guy gets pushed out of bounds or misses a layup.
