I love this game but could not for the life of me find a way to get my guards or G. Hill down on the block to take advantage of some mismatches. So I started a thread asking how to get this done. A few people suggested running plays out of certain sets and that sounded good.
Then, dextercu suggested using off ball control and even told me how to activate it. Well, this game was great before that suggestion but now it's almost PERFECT since I tried the off ball controls.
I know there are a few threads that address off ball control, but I wanted to call out dextercu personally because he has made my gaming experience complete with Live. I pull Kato off the post and slide Francis, Mobely, or Hill right there on the block, and get to work. It is also great that Live has the shooting fouls right and that they have accounted for 'help' defense because when Hill beats his man there is a good chance that the Center (who was pulled away from the block initially) will come back and give me a chance at an "And 1".
So, while there are a small percentage of people who use the boards to argue and pose, I'm thankful for the people who are helpful and like to share good ideas. That's why I keep checking in.
Thanks dextercu
