Why is it that only predetermined dunks are scored high where as others that are "simple" are scored low? That's one reason why I'm not too into the game on the real. The game already determines which dunks are hot and which ones are not. However, some of the hot dunks are overrated and some of the not dunks are pretty hot in my opinion. Like, Vince Carter came straight down the middle throwing it down from teh freethrow line which is clearly the hottest dunk. He get a freaking 31. Tracy McGrady throws a backwards alley-oop and catches it to throw down a simple tomahawk. That's not hot honestly. I'm not feeling the bias arcadish push of this game. Am I the only one that thinks the dunk contest was somewhat of a bust?

I don't even do that dunk contest because I could never get my timing down.

A alley-oop of something is always nicer than just a normal throwdown, Vine used the freethrow line dunks as his safe dunk when he was in the dunk contest. Now if he did some James White free throw through the legs then yes, but I wouldn't give a free throw line dunk that much anymore.Comment

^^ True, but simply taking off from that far with any kind of finish deserves something in the 40's. I do like how the nostalgic dunks get high scores, however. How do you get the timing down on the 'Fred Jones Cockback'? It seems almost impossible.Comment

Yeah, it sucks, but this is EA's first year doing this. I'm pretty sure this had to be the first obvious issue with the dunk contest. The second one is that there's about 25 dunks I have seen and not 20,000.Comment
