    Ratings

Where the devil do they get the team ratings from? I just started a dynasty with the Magic and they're rated as an 83 Ovr. They've only got 2 players on the team rated as a 75 or better and they are Mobley (75) and Francis (85). Everyone else is rated below 70. This is quite puzzling. While I'm asking this I'll also ask why players are rated so lowly in general?

I do not understand this either. The Hornets are rated an 89, yet Baron Davis is the only guy rated highly on the whole team, basically.

It's a totally different rating system then ESPN...Because a guy like christie is in the 60's doesn't mean he sucks or they rated him badly.

            Re: Ratings

So are their ratings something like if a player is higher than 50 he's an above average player?

Something like that..I think they are rated great...I find the ratings for players in ESPN are far too similar...

                    Re: Ratings

its a 0-100 scale instead of a 50-100 scale. i love the NBA Live rating system too, because it creates a bigger difference between role players and star players. You are unable to dominate with role players like u could in previous NBA Lives before the rating re-format.

I don't mind the player ratings...it's good to have a difference between 'okay'...'good' and 'great'.

However, the team ratings are just bizzare. The Knicks are rated a lot better than the Pacers etc etc.

The problem is...by the time you reach the play off's...you'll see teams like the Knicks and Hornets etc in the higher seeds.

In a few simmed seasons, I've had the Pacers not even make the 8th seed, which is crazy.
