Re: boundary forcefield?
This is the first sensible question I have seen asked.
Maybe someone like Pared could make a list and explain exactly what each slider does, so that we can all create our own and there won't be so many people BITCHING about others!
I'm sure there are more than just the guys who have posted their sliders who know about what these mean! Tell us!Comment

Re: boundary forcefield?
I'm going to guess it has something to do with stepping out of bounds or with making contact with an opposing player.
In Arcade mode the slider is set lower than in Simulation mode...so it would make sense if it were either of the above two mentioned."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I agree 100%. People use the boundary force field as a crutch while abusing the baseline.Sixers/Panthers/Tarheels

Re: boundary forcefield?
Re: boundary forcefield?
generic forcefield no, but ratings based ability for a player to stay inbounds yes.
the difference between derrick rose dribbling the baseline and guy like steve novak dribbling the baseline. so in a sense elite players and dribblers have more of a "force field" effect and reg or below average players would have a tough time dribbling and staying in bounds especially with a defender. but still toned down from what is right now for the elite level players.Comment
