After all of that this waiting,no way possible no demo or not being released.

It would be the next of LIVE,even did hard fans would agree,a Product must be put out.

If not,it's NBA Live SUICIDE,no comeback.

I agree with I don't see a way that this game doesn't get released in Mid September. I just want to them to drop a set release date.
I am looking forward to playing this game. It feels good to have another option and an another experience. So I don't want to see a delay or cancel

Have a gut feeling,NBA LIVE will be very very good and I'm not even a LIVE fan.

2k will probably be a small upgrade from last year,always adding a few wrinkles.. but hasn't been a complete makeover in awhile.

I have a good feeling,once they see LIVE is back,next year they will do many upgrades.

Wish live was coming to the P.C,but happy for all gamers we have a choice which usually great for US.

I don't know if LIVE will do the VC route,but if they DON'T...2K has a problem.

Once 2k went to VC,when you already made a full purchase,lost some respect for them.

Sports games should be a one time purchase,other games,can do DLCs which I feel is best for perfectly fine,it adds longevity.

I have no plans on buying Live this year. But I do plan on renting game and playing it alot. I just feel like there won't be much depth this year to be worth buying. I feel like the main selling point will be 'The One'. But the main reason to buy is the Online Street ball and Drew League. I don't play Online at all, so i would only play League and not sure how much depth there is in there.

EA doesn't usually go the VC route. At most, they do the My Team purchases. 2k forces your My Player to be 55 OVR and with MyPark being a big thing, it makes people want to buy VC to be able to compete with others. But Live, you start out at a higher OCT. So there isn't a big need to buy VC

Live has cancelled a game after the demo was released to CONSOLES...and you could actually preorder that game....

I just wish they wpuld stop going about their business like this, just gives off a second rate feel...we had to get the coverboy from a leak, we cant preorder and dont have a release date......Just put your cards out there man...show confidence...

100% agree.
I think most of us believe Live will be released. It would be bad even worse if that same situation happens again where the game is cancelled after the demo is released. I just want them to show confidence. It is more than obvious that it will take a few years before they can compete with 2k again. But at the very least be confident in your product and give details.

Like you said 'show your cards...show confidence". I don't really have a problem with them giving a set demo release. But, It is not reassuring that they haven't officially dropped a Pre-order set, haven't dropped a release date, heck haven't officially named the Cover boy even though it got leaked. The game could potentially be released in 7 weeks-2months and we don't know much about the game outside of what we got from EA Play/E3

That means nothing. Everyone played the demo on Xbox before and it was cancelled. They even had a release date set for it.

No demo release date despite the fact it was supposed to be out in the next 3 weeks? No news? No release date for the game which was rumoured to be out within the next 8 weeks?

This is either terrible marketing or they're delaying/cancelling. One or the other.

If it's August 11th why haven't they announced it yet? It's only a demo. That's just 14 days away. Seems odd.

Also nobody is saying the sky is falling. Live just has a horrible track record that leaves itself susceptible to pessimism.

Thinking the skepticism has been earned no doubt...and after the Clubber Lang like shot that was fired by 2k yesterday I would hope EA wouldn't tuck tape and cancel.
