Just hoping player lock is in League play and if possible please... add a Drive like camera (or ball lock camera) that shifts baseline camera slightly to sides.

Also don't know what it is about this game but it reminds of old days like Live 95. In the "other" game after a while I felt like I was just running and gunning back and forth watching cool animations play out as I never wanted to learn 25 plays or all of 40 intricate controller moves to really get depth.

I just wanted something once a night to play a few games against cpu that were fun, exciting and competitive that were not dumbed down arcade yet also not a full time job. I do play other games too.

This game is THAT. The realism of the grinding, dribbling, shooting, defense, presentation and immersion all tie together.

I am trying out those button combos and I still can't control it. Moving diagonal away from basket is a euro-step and moving the shot button away will cause a cross-back shot. I have yet to see any pro-hop/hop step animation in the game while driving. I am not doubting it, but it isn't listed in the official controls. Maybe someone can make a video demonstrating it?

Both times I was driving from perimeter left wing to right side of basket and when about near the right block, I would do a pro hop to the side and lean into a fall away jumper/floater. I'll see if I can get it again and video it

We used the NBA broadcast manual, which lists the camera locations at the various arenas, to guide their placement in each environment.

That's the only camera I ever used in Live 16. Fav for sure :-)

The Player Lock gameplay camera is only available in modes which involve created players.

About the difficulty on NBA 2k if I play on the level above pro I get killed and have like zero chances. On this game I have now played like 4.5 games on all star and I have won like 2 lost 2 that were pretty close and right now down 28-31 early 3erd so I am enjoying the difficulty of this game and considering I have not really played a live game In a long time. Last one I played at all I think was a little of the 16 demo and then 10 and even didn't play that much of 10. So I am sure I am going to be able to get better.

Couple of issues on 1.03 I've noticed.

1. When playcalling, the diagram will randomly disappear from the floor and the play will break up and stop

2. Random lockups while paused, not sure if it's a PS4 pro issue or game issue

3. When stealing, even if I'm not double tapping the steal button, I'm getting hug fouls and intentional fouls executed

OMG that's hilarious! Does that happen when it's sure of going in? That would be really bad if the big man gets a rebound and tried to pass it back to him while he's doing that, even worse a long rebound... that hits him while he's doing that.

PLease tell me this is just an animation when the shot is 100% to go in.

If so EA can patch that easily, or drop the frequency.

Only time ive saw that in game, I didnt like it. Kawhi Leonard was doing it.

If anyone is interested Ive made a slight break though for all the extra blocking in game.

Turned both offensive and defensive air/ground collision frequency to 100. Shot contest to 70 and blocking to 10.

Good timed blocks are rewarded with players with the skill to block. Better
contact animations under the rim with the few quarters ive played.

What kind of foul numbers are you seeing? Right now I am playing a game with shot blocking at 30 and still seeing way to much lol.

Online is so choppy, really kind of breaks the game for me and my buds. Just not sure if there's a franchise mode that could sway me to purchase if the online is always this laggy. It's like there's 10 frames per second.

Newest patch that released today fixed the choppy gameplay. It is now officially Silky smooth, so if you haven't played it try it asap!
