Finally a decent Rudy after the initial joke in 16

There is so much life to the players, the eyes especially and the faces don't just look like high resolution photos stuck on a polygon head. EA deserve a lot of credit. I think their faces (the one's with proper scans) are absolutely the best in the business across all sports games.

They really need to work on the body types. Thick non muscular guys look like body builders.

The crazy thing about this is that the appropriate body types are available and can be created this year for the "off body types" with a bit more effort and attention to detail as evidenced by the excellent player models of players like Blake Griffin, Lebron, D.Rose, Jae Crowder, Kawhi, KD, AD, etc, etc. Can't say enough how impressed I am with what they were able to achieve with these players. You really feel like you are controlling their real life counterparts! I will be starting a thread soon to identify some of these players that need body likeness improvements via patch or update, however, the game definitely has very good and detailed player models this year, they simply have not applied them appropriately and consistently for various players!

One thing I wished was more subtle is the shoulder definition of some of the player models, especially since its been applied to a good number of players. Although not a graphics killer by any means this year, IMO, Live 16's shoulder definition or something in-between would have been more effective or desirable. They also need to fix the exploding shoulders and arm size for players like Delon Wright, Otto Porter, Rodney Hood, etc.

They are still 20 times better than 2ks. Let's face it, graphically LIVE killed 2k this year. Period.

Live has for the last few years killed 2k graphically, because live is about total immersion. But 2k seems to focus on players and skin, their courts and arena lack greatly. Live dominates them in that area.

I will say this much, what they have accomplished with the ignite engine is truly impressive! They are just on another level! After playing Battlefront 2 beta just the other day, man I'm salivating at what this game will look like with the frostbite engine! Even so, the ignite engine is no slouch either as evidenced by this years game!

The photos are really good. I’ve been taking snapshots in game and make it my PS4 Theme! [emoji28]
