I started a franchise and got to the first game loading screen and it's been loading for about 10 minutes.

I hope this franchise freezing stuff is an easy fix or some reason for it. It's going to be my main mode. Still playing the demo and waiting for the full game. This better be sorted by release.

No, didn't buy it. I'm getting it for free because I'm reviewing it for another site.

So maybe that has something to do with it, but it lets you set everything up, it just won't load into the game. Sounds like a bug to me.

Well whatever it is im now under 8 hours left on my trial and pretty annoyed.

I tried simmimg the first game and playing the next game didn't work.

Tried play the moment and that didn't work.

I'm calling it a night. This sucks.

yea maybe a server issue with EA Access wrt having not purchased the game

i have not had any issues playing any of the modes and tried them all

Ok after further review the game feels like the demo(that's not a bad thing), the courts are BEAUTIFUL, everything that's supposed to be in the game is and everything we thought wasn't in the game isn't.

I played my 1st street game and NBA game on the "One" mode. They were very easy to breeze through(I hope the difficulty increases as you progress)

My main gripe is the WNBA mode. It's boring....not because it's the WNBA, but because of the lack of attention it got. There is literally little to no commentary for them which makes it seem dry and they didn't even give them a halftime show....so uh yeah I'mma leave that alone.

Everything else NBA wise and the one wise is what I expected. I'll be playing my trial up on the one for sure...

PS...I was playing the Wolves vs Kings and Wiggins was called for a moving screen that was dope!!

So for those who have this, sorry for sounding dumb but when some say they brought it and others say they are using EA Access (I know what this is) whats the difference and why does franchise seem to work with it brought and not access?.

I just tried out the franchise mode. I simmed the first game and now I'm playing game 2. No freeze so far and I haven't bought the game...straight eachaccess trial

Loaded up a franchise game with the Raptors v Hawks, what a beautiful Toronto Court, fun game.

played a couple minutes remembered to go in and turned off auto subs for my team , went back to the game played normally and the Hawks continued to substitute throughout the game. [emoji1]

Oh and the gameplay is amazing, booted up the Prelude 18 for a little while and came back to this because it just feels so damn good

Only just fired up the full game to give it a try and decided to give the WNBA a shot. I fully agree that the commentary and halftime show are downers but I like the novelty and feel of playing as them. The presentation for it at least makes it feel like it's something unique which is nice.

One thing I really enjoy about this game that I've had with the demo and now is that it feels like there's a pace to ball movement if done correctly. Get the defense to crash in, pass out, swing in more and open up a three point shot. When it works, it's a thing of beauty. I want to play as a team like the Spurs to really test this out and see how it flows.

Edit: Late timeout situation on auto wasn't good. Down 4 with 42 seconds left and 1 TO left and TO is called. Also had a laugh at the CPU having no respect for me firing up shots after notching the game instead of holding the ball and running the clock.

Maybe that's a good work around. Turning off subs once the games loaded.

Have you tried it with the auto subs off before you get in game?

edit... auto subs off in settings from home screen

fired up play now game randoms... 0 subs

will have to try another franchise game

ok started another franchise game Rockets this time Auto subs off from load.

cpu made no subs

turned auto subs on and back off. 0 subs.

however the cpu did sub if I simulated any part of the game
