Was there a solution? It seems random. My son made a player as well and his players' head well proportioned.

Been working on sliders, but man this game feels and looks incredible. It's real basketball. Has some flaws it needs to work out, but it's the most authentic and complete basketball game I've played. Both ends of the court and the transition game are excellent. Everything is interwoven very nicely. Produces so many beautiful basketball sequences. I'm in love with the gameplay and visuals. Most of Everything just feels so right and real.
Playing on 48 min quarters.... the shifts in momentum feel very natural and unscripted. They seem to happen organically, and not quarter by quarter boosts like the other game. I love that. Very sim. Each possession and shot feels like it's on its own, and that's adds to a huge part of the feel. I love that. Rhythm is still in the game, but unlike the other game, it's in your control. The organic feeling/unscriptedness and free flowing gameplay is a huge plus to NBA Live. Love it.
The shooting feels good, but the mechanics could be smoother and faster.
Fouls are good.
Dribbling is really nice.
Player likeness feels really nice. Harden, DLO were fun to play with.
The core gameplay mechanics are phenomenal and ahead of the curve. Defense is damn near perfection. The AI, rotations, anticipation, on ball defense, footplanting, sliding... just amazing
I've been sold since the demo but I Preordered the game last night. $35 for my basketball game this year, and my favorite one yet. Thanks EA, and amazing job on the game. I'm Finally back in the live series.
Looking forward to a great cycle, and excited for the future of NBA LiveComment

I'm impressed, Live is back with a vengeance! Too good to be true, EA Sports hit almost all the right spots, this is the basketball game i was hoping for. Greatly improved from 16, every aspect of 2K than i hate is basically fixed. Attack is ultra fun and intuitive, some good actions, spacing is great, defense is solid, you can block and rebound is not frustrating. I love the new shot meter, courts are great and the crowd go nuts. The woman division is different and you can feel the new groove.
There's still room for improvement: graphics is not on par with 2K (but i like much better courts), ESPN presentation is meh and there's some animations junctions. Overall the experience is more arcadey (and i love this), so for the first time we have a very solid alternative to 2K, more on the fun side.Comment

Re: NBA Live 18 Trial Available For EA Access Subscribers, Post Your Impressions Here
I know I just made a post feeling some regrets about pre-ordering.
The reason I made that post was because of many legacy issues not being fixed:
1: Ball being deflated
2: Tip going to the PG
3: No roster editing
4: No online franchise
5: Wonky animations. To cover up for the goofiness of the looks they just sped up the game to an extreme level.
6: Online h2h is a speed fest with full court passes being made at ease.
There were more issues, but in the end I felt very disappointed.
Then I went to go play "The One" mode OFFLINE and was reminded of so many great things about this game. Defense is extremely fun, when your playing someone who slows the pace, or playing the computer, the game feels so smooth! It plays so realistic and fun. There were a good amount of fouls called and gameplay was just phenominal.
On "The One" you can adjust the difficulty to your liking, you can adjust how many games you play per season in your season, you can request to be traded and be traded to who you wish (yes, it's a little unrealistic, but good.). You start out again at a pretty high rating. I'm already a 79 and I've only played a few games outside of the demo. In 2k I would have been a 62 at this point. I'm leveling up playing in the streets, or playing online.
Also the camera angle used for "The One" (Similar to 2k camera angle) is phenominal and the graphics look so amazing with this angle.
I guess if they fix most of the legacy issues, or half and add roster editing, this game may not end up better than 2k, but will save me a lot of money when you include the vc saved, and will be a lot more fun, since it is a change of pace. Only if they fix many of these issues.
The difference between this lives and previous lives is that it is actually playable. IMO Live 16 got broken to where you could never hit outside shots unless 100% open. It was broken to the point I couldn't even play it. Live 18 is completely stable, just some legacy issues and other things, many of these things they will probably patch.
So for $32 bucks with best buy+pre order discount it's worth it. They may even patch in editing. Worst case I could sell the game on ebay 3 or 4 months down the line for $20.Comment

Although I am disappointed in the lack of some basic features that I feel this game should have by now there is no doubt that I will be purchasing this game. This game imo is easily worth the $35 that it is going to cost me. To be totally honest I would have paid $60 for it.
Is it better than 2K? I can only speak for myself and with not having played 2K18 I won't pass judgement but I can say that this game is pretty damn good. No way in hell can anyone say with a straight face that they have not truly put quality time and effort into this years game especially if you played the last 3 version.
Thank you EA for finally seriously getting back into the Video BBall conversation.

I'm with you 1000% I am having a blast with this game......EA just work on the small things to tightened up the game and this will definitely be a must buy for most people this year!!!!

There is something about this game that gives you the element of surprise that just feels authentic. Already after only a few hours I saw things that made me go "WOW"....but it was completely unexpected which made it feel good. It really seems like players are doing things based off the situation and it gives an extremely rewarding random feeling that makes you want to keep playing to see what's nextComment

Is this really the full game? It seems like we're missing some simple modes/features like the ability to play the Drew Leauge. Also this picture that was leaked a few months back shows some menu items that aren't present in the trial.

Played one 8min game on All Star I was the Spurs vs. cpu Thunder. This is a fun game but not very realistic, Steven Adams went 14/14 in the paint, Aldridge shot 82 percent, Gasol shot 80 something percent too. The crowd has good sound but it's not very realistic, even in regular season presentation the crowd is super loud and goes crazy even when the home team is up by 20, the cpu always shoots the ball at the end of the game even when their up by a bunch of points. I enjoy the game it's really fun all the things I complained about seems to be just easy updates or slider adjustments, if you like a lot of highlights and average players playing like stars then Live is for you, im still not sure if I'm going to by upon release but Live is on the right track.
