The lakers sign Bogut like 2 weeks ago and he isn’t on LA roster either. 2K had updated rosters like the next day...wtf EA, stop being so lazy.

Getting harder and harder to defend Live at this point. If roster editing isn't going to be possible, prompt roster updates is a must.

The lack of updates was a huge problem for Live 15 and Live 16. I like the game but not surprised by this at all. I hoped things would be different this time though.

Im getting close to being done with this game. I mean whats so hard about updating your freaking rosters. This is just the start of the season, how bad is it going to be regular season. I bet we just have to get use to whatever accessories they start with. If they do trades, everything else you can forget about it.

I think I would give EA margin until the start/first week of the season. I understand they may be looking at other issues (gameplay related mostly) right now and will turn into updating rosters and other minor stuff (accessories, uniform numbers, courts, etc...) once the real basketball start.

If they haven't changed or don't change by then, I'm afraid I'll pass on this game. Sad because it looks fun as hell, but at $60 and with a lack of support as they're showing it is hard to buy the project.

I only this game because its an option but i knew i wouldn't again and i haven't. The roster editing issue is beyond lazy. Im convinced that EA isnt listening...or dont care. These cats who keep trying to hype this game are definitely EA fans. This game is weak.

I also don't think roster editing can be added either from a patch so we're stuck with no editing & lack of roster updates. Glad I went ahead & bought NBA 2K18 too even though Live '18 & its gameplay is way improved & gives NBA 2K18 a big challenge.

However, what they're doing is just going to push people away with the lack of roster updates if it ain't already with the no editing allowed on their part. To me, that's the most shocking part about this game. It's almost laughable like the Kobe GIF posted.

The rosters are starting to really frustrate.

Melo is officially in the Thunder in UT right now yet not in any other mode.

Then as I've said before, the UT teams are still messed up. Some rosters are more accurate in regular modes and some are more accurate in UT.

Joffrey Lauvergne for example is still on the Bulls in UT yet correctly on the Spurs in other modes.

Likewise, you've got Diaw on the Jazz yet he was always a free agent and never resigned, yet other free agents that had resigned are either completely missing, on the wrong teams or in UT, on the free agent list.

The missing players are annoying too. I can't start my Spurs franchise because of it.

A little more involvement/communication from the EA crew would be nice. Hate when we have periods like this where as a consumer I feel left in the dark after buying and supporting a project.

I agree with this. Meanwhile, it seems 2K developers are way more involved post release. Just finished reading the "MyGM/MyLeague Bird Rights not working..." thread in the 2K forum and the openness and transparency from the developer responding in that thread (davez) is nothing short of impressive. He's been responding almost daily to all issues brought up in that thread. I also see other 2K developers responding in the forum and on twitter (Mike Wang). It's just a little frustrating to see this from 2K and virtually nothing from the Live team post release. There's a little "twitter war" (for lack of a better term) going on between some on the Live team and followers that are just looking for answers/ updates. Followers are criticizing the Live team for posting more about wrestling than posting about Live 18 and the Live team is getting a little irritated about the criticism. And while I side with the Live team that they have every right to post or tweet about whatever they want, even if it's another game....the back and forth between them and the followers is just not a good look. However, The followers are just looking for ANY info or updates on a game that is ACTUALLY good this year and that we actually care about. There is a Live 18 following that is very vocal and the praise for this game is well deserved, but I do feel that we are kind of left in the dark about when we should be expecting updates. Even if someone from the Live team would just come on here or twitter or anywhere and let us know that we can expect to see the next roster update on this date and it will or will not include this and that....and we can expect roster updates more frequent once the NBA season starts, I think people would be fine with that. But NOTHING has been said so it just feels like we (fans of this game) are being ignored....and that's the complete opposite feeling I get with 2K.
