And if it's not clear by now to anyone that Live 18 was ALL about The One mode and every other game mode was kind of just thrown in there as an after thought, it should be crystal clear to everyone now.

Exactly! Noshun, no one understands what your signature means, please explain if you’re going to continue to criticize the game (rightfully so). It’s clear at this point that we’d all like an explanation as to how Synergy is a mask. What’s up with the 8?

I agree with this. Meanwhile, it seems 2K developers are way more involved post release. Just finished reading the "MyGM/MyLeague Bird Rights not working..." thread in the 2K forum and the openness and transparency from the developer responding in that thread (davez) is nothing short of impressive. He's been responding almost daily to all issues brought up in that thread. I also see other 2K developers responding in the forum and on twitter (Mike Wang). It's just a little frustrating to see this from 2K and virtually nothing from the Live team post release. There's a little "twitter war" (for lack of a better term) going on between some on the Live team and followers that are just looking for answers/ updates. Followers are criticizing the Live team for posting more about wrestling than posting about Live 18 and the Live team is getting a little irritated about the criticism. And while I side with the Live team that they have every right to post or tweet about whatever they want, even if it's another game....the back and forth between them and the followers is just not a good look. However, The followers are just looking for ANY info or updates on a game that is ACTUALLY good this year and that we actually care about. There is a Live 18 following that is very vocal and the praise for this game is well deserved, but I do feel that we are kind of left in the dark about when we should be expecting updates. Even if someone from the Live team would just come on here or twitter or anywhere and let us know that we can expect to see the next roster update on this date and it will or will not include this and that....and we can expect roster updates more frequent once the NBA season starts, I think people would be fine with that. But NOTHING has been said so it just feels like we (fans of this game) are being ignored....and that's the complete opposite feeling I get with 2K.

I said the same thing about Live 16 as well. They put all their eggs into one basket. I posted on Twitter that it seems as if the NBA in NBA Live is an afterthought.

I think they had a good thing. The competitors game was getting hammered with complaints, they had their chance to reclaim so space in the basketball world. But they let that ship sail it feels like. Just give us some news anything. With EA being silent like they are, i think this hurts them more than they realize. I was getting all my buddies on Live they were having fun. But now they say their done with game. Sad to say i see more fans turning away, but with no communication or updates i dont blame them at all.

So what happens when the season starts and still updated weekly if that. What about accessories updated? Maybe some of us would like updated rosters to start franchise mode while we wait for the season.

The worst thing you can say is “it isn’t the end of the world” The Devs should be responding to us and letting us know where things stand. There is no reason why the rosters are outdated and the season has yet to start (Melo, Wade, Bogut etc.)

Pretty sure the NHL series works the same way. Rosters come all out of wack out of the box and then begin updating once season begins

The season not starting yet is not a strong argument.

And I'm generally quite patient but there is no reason why Melo is already in OKC in UT challenges but trades and transactions up to that date are not reflecting in every other mode.

There's no reason I can see as to why players are flat out non-existent in the game.

The game has been out for two weeks. Modes we are all either actively playing or waiting desperately for updates so we can play have all been live since we paid for the game.

I know EA had a pretty good track record for non roster updates for 16, I played it probably more than anyone, but something seemingly simple as rosters should be close to instant.

season hasn't started but the games out lol so they should update, if they're gonna update a month after release then release it in october next time because that just leaves us who want to play modes with updates rosters left hanging

The thing is comparing to NHL doesn't mean anything. The direct comparison is with the other basketball game. EA should be working to keep up with them - not do things like NHL...

Exactly if they release a month before the season. Then you better keep it updated. If not just release opening day.
