    NBA Live 18 Audio Thread

I wasn't sure if there was a place to post concerns about game audio, but I was curious if there's a better setting or some feedback for the devs that I could leave...

I love a lot about the audio in the game, but I actually find that crowd noise completely drowns out everything else. It seems like crowd noise is lumped in with a lot of the other stuff?

I played a game at Madison Square Garden, and I could never hear the PA after made baskets, and very often I had a hard time hearing it at all. I would think to myself "Did I just hear the organ?" but the crowd is so insanely loud that it's hard to tell. I like a loud crowd, but is there a better way to mix up the sounds so it's more balanced between crowd-arena sounds-etc.? I did completely turn off commentary, but that didn't seem to help the issue.

I am a total sucker for arena sounds, organs, etc. so I'm hoping there's a way I can find a better setting.

Also, replay mode has no crowd noise in the full game. Had it in the demo. Needs to be added back

Are you using tv speakers or surround sound? I hear the crowd in replays.

The crowd sounds also drown out the referees whistles. I mentioned this EARocky and he acknowledged it and said they'd look into it.

And yes hearing the organ sounds in places like MSG and Staples Center would be great.

Speaking of audio, I ran into a bug last night where I was the warriors playing at the kings. Audio was fine the entire 4 quarters, but once the game went into overtime, the crowd noises got muted or it's volume was lowered significantly. (I'm on PS4 Pro.)

i love the crowd noise some of the best ever, but maybe I just found a good set of sound adjustments for my audio setup. I use headphones with windows sonic surround or 5.1 Dolby, seems to work great

I mean in the replay mode from the pause menu. It's not a huge deal, but it was a really nice touch for us who record game clips from there.

same issue for me, i don't hear any foul whistle and didn't heard the PA announcer once, that's really sad, because the rest of the atmosphere is simply amazing

It's real nice to see Live Devs around OS more often. I'm intrigued to see what the next patch will address

The crowd is fine, the volume just needs to be upped for the pa announcer and organ music. When the crowd is settled for home free throws the pa announcer is still too low.

Once its corrected it still would be better to just have seperate volumes. So the user could configure to their liking depending on their audio setup or preference.

                    Crowd volume
                    Arena sounds volume
                    On the court volume.

I think the audio is insanely good on a 5.1 setup through LPCM. This game produces some really deep bass and I feel like the arena sounds are well distributed in a surround sound setup. For a sports game, this is the best I've heard so far.

That happened to you also. I posted in the bug thread that the crowd audio cut out once overtime started.
