How do I do a fadeaway jumper from a post move?
So I'm backing down and 70% of the time, I'm gonna do a silly jumphook-type shot instead of a cool fadeaway jumper! I've tried all sorts of things, all different combinations but no luck of CONSISTENTLY pulling a fadeaway jumper! Any help, guys? Thanks.Tags: None -

Just a thought off the top of my head, haven't actually tried it yet.
Have you tried doing the drop step from the back down where you end up facing the basket, and then just trying to shoot while tilting the analog stick back?Comment

I know what you're saying thaima1shu and I think it might just work. Although it's not the same fadeaway J that I would like to do CONSISTENTLY, this would (for the meantime) do.
Whenever I'm backing down and I'm moving closer to the freethrow line (assuming you're backing down near the baseline), and I immediately tap the left analog stick opposite to where I'm going and at the same time hit the shoot button, 80% of the time I would do a fadeaway a-la Michael Jordan. The key is JUST WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO STEP ON THE FREE THROW LINE, pull back for the fadeaway!
BUT I'm not doing this move 100% of the time - which is what I'm after. Again, thanks for your help thaima1shu and I'll practice this move more today.Comment
