Honestly, even if it goes little by little, I think by mid November most of the graphics-related issues such as face updates and all that will be mostly done. NBA 2K promised this years ago and I don't know if they have been delivering, but EA is definitely doing their part this year for sure. I'm pretty pleased with this as I'm obsessed with all those stylistic things.

Also, have they fixed the shooting? Why do open/good releases miss more than others (outside of excellents)?

Again! Game has been out a month and still cant start a Franchise. Wrong numbers, skin colors etc. Until they allow us to edit Rosters in my eyes this game is not worth the money

You can change the settings on how frequent you want cut scenes displayed. By default it's on the higher settings. You can skip the halftime show too. Just hold X I believe.

I don't see a problem with open/good releases. I think most people felt contested shots went in far too little compared to open releases.

I can't put my hand on everything, but I'm liking the gameplay more and more. I'm very pleased with how this game plays on the court and having a blast doing so.
