The answer is no. You can't edit your roster when you are in your Franchise. You can however edit it before you start your franchise.

thanks for correcting me. I'm sorry about that.

Yeah,. he's right. You basically create the roster you want with the ratings you want, then save it. Then you can import that specific roster into the franchise.

So, how do you adjust after a trade/free agents/rookies from the draft? Just have to live with what accessories/shoes they already have?

Can't change it. Also, the draft of 2018 is only random character not real players. I hope they will add the roster editor and create draft in franchise mode but right now EA don't seem to want to improve this mode.

Still seems pretty lame, but for us live 18 buyers, you have to take whatever little things are offered to us I guess. Definitely not for next year's game though, no way am I putting up with another game if it's missing so much basic features.

Wait, can you not edit the players at all, or is it just ratings?

Also, does this mean you can't edit the prospects/drafted players? Because I wanted to make them real players like you can do in Madden. That's extremely lame.
All you gotta do is look up in dat tree.

You cant. Franchise mode in this game is as barebones as it can get.
The only time you get to know who are the draft prospects is in the ACTUAL DRAFT!!! 100% Random stuff

That's absurd. Can you not even change players' positons?

In a way, this is frustrating for those who enjoy this game and would love more customization options, but I do actually enjoy this as well.

I used to play 2k exclusively for years, and all of the customization options led me to try to micromanage and edit every detail. I literally spent more time editing then actually playing the game.

With Live 18, in every mode I find myself just starting the game up and actually playing 95% of the time I spend on it.

That's the positive way of looking at such a bare bones franchise. You just look forward to jumping in and playing. Try not to worry about all of the details as much as you would on a more thorough game like 2k. Just ball lol

Lol thats no joke. I have both and I'm almost always into something else on 2k, however I like that I can save mid game and finish later. Lol.

Live its just start it up and play.

I do like both, each has their plusses and minuses.
