    Dyanasty is a mess

I just won back to back NBA titles and was offered a new position. Great right. However, you then realize you can't do much to fix your team aka clean house. You can't trade until after a). nba draft b) signing period c) free agents. this is a joke. even if you are lucky enough to trade a team with cap space (never in 6 seasons) you can't free up this space until after free agents. but all the free agents get picked up somehow even though every team is over their space. not sure if they resign their own players. is this allowed in the NBA? resign your own players after the resigning period and over the cap?

The Larry Bird exception is how they resign their own players if they are over the cap. Here is a good FAQ about the NBA salary cap.

    NFL: Tennessee Titans
    MLB: Cincinnati Reds
