    Re: NBA Live 19 Wishlist

    Franchise/Dynasty/Owner Mode

    1. Incorporate a style similar to MyGM in 2k but also elements that has been seen in successful virtual management modes like MVP Baseball 05's Owner Mode (what a great mode that was, it was kinda like Franchise and Dynasty's hot sister)

    2. Incorporate use of mode with different leagues (WNBA exclusive franchise expansions/relocation)

    3. Create an custom Owner, not just have your player take over a team (old Association modes in 2K had this); give option for male or female gender

    4. Create a franchise/team - name of team, initials, create jerseys, fantasy draft roster or expansion draft. Allow up to 30 created teams (or keep this separate in the main menu and give the ability to upload created teams into the mode)

    5. Create an Arena/Venue (similar to Madden 06 or MVP Baseball 05 Stadium Builder); start it from scratch, picking a arena name and based on your chosen team city's population density, whether it's rural or urban, pick an arena style, set dimensions, pick seat color, types, select sponsors and arena advertising, court designs (1 standard main home court design and allow for alternate home court designs) and have upgrades such as unlockable building tiers/visible arena upgrades, setting custom arena music/sounds, ticket and concessions prices, buy/sell/create arena stores, promotional game nights, finances, fan interaction, valet parking, etc. (team revenue will play a factor in trying to upgrade your arena settings, have revenue and upgrades affected based on W-L record, attendance, prices, player contracts, other misc. costs, etc.) (EA needs a slew of advertising sponsors to support future releases if they want guaranteed success)

    6. Roster editing should come natural and standard out of the box (and not via a lengthy patch) with all the bells and whistles, no excuses. (as well as overall roster editing/management in the main menu)

    7. Multiple team trading (3 team trading is a must, but 4 team trading would be a plus): PUT IN A TRADING BLOCK SIMILAR TO NHL GM MODES

    8. I do like the individual player upgrading points system based on in game performance that was introduced in Live 18 Franchise mode, but IMO, I say let the points accumulate during the season/playoffs and allow for upgrading skills in the offseason for more of a realistic feel (or at least give an option in the Franchise/Dynasty settings menu)

    9. Rookie/new player generator should be expected to work and not crash the mode/game

    10. Have a viewable team rankings system that updates itself weekly thru the season

    11. AGAIN Calendar Simulation should always be daily and never weekly. Hate having to sim a whole week just to figure out what the rest of the league has been up to. It messes with the spontaneity of league standings and stats. I guess some people like that weekly sim, so at the least give us an option to choose whether weekly or daily sim in the Franchise/Dynasty Settings menu.

      Re: NBA Live 19 Wishlist

      Presentation & Commentary

      1. Love the main menu layout in Live 18, just improve on it, do what you can to make it a bit faster as it does tend to lag a bit while navigating through it and opening/browsing different modes and settings of the overall game.

      2. NBA Live has had the valuable ESPN license at their disposal for years now, but never used it to its full potential. Unless there are some strict restrictions to that license/contract, then I say GO ALL OUT. Previous EA basketball titles like NCAA Basketball 10 and current EA Sports games like NHL and FIFA have shown how far presentation in sports games have come since their inception, and NBA Live seems to still be stuck in the 6th gen (PS2/Xbox/GameCube era) When it comes to commentary and announcing in-game

      3. Have JVG and Mike Breen record all brand new lines. Burn all the previous generic commentary scripts. I'm tired of hearing the majority of the exact same lines since Live 14 (hell since Elite 11 and Live 13) and make it sound more natural (not forced), lengthy and involved during the gameplay (also no more dead air silence, i notice that a lot in the WNBA games where JVG would barely say anything and Breen wont say last names after players perform plays
      • We should also be seeing a representation of Breen and JVG at the half court announcers table with their headsets on and mouth moving. Get their respective face scans in the game!!!

      4. Add a third person on the in game commentary, maybe a Mark Jackson OR have different/alternating broadcast teams of 2 or 3 (so many guys to choose from like Hubie, Bill Walton, Marc Jones, Mike Tirico etc.) as well as using ESPN2 or ABC branding (or at least give the option to choose which one we want to see before each tipoff) and have different commentary teams for that
      • For WNBA broadcasts, use their respective announcers studio analysts and reporters (Rebecca Lobo, Ryan Ruocco, Holly Rowe, Tafoya, etc.) for overall in-game commentary, pregame, halftime and postgame segments. Same rules apply as far as smarter, more involved commentary (doesn't matter if similar scripts are used)

      5. Pregame (rename it NBA Countdown)/ Halftime/ Postgame scenes with Jalen, Michelle Beadle, Chauncey, Paul Pierce and/or T-Mac analyzing the game. Each of these 3 segments should be no more than 2-3 minutes long. (give option to skip) (Also, if playing with throwback versions of these players in a mode like Ultimate Team or something, when they are talking about their retro selves having a monster game at like the half or in the post game, have them gloat about it just a bit).

Allow for more in-depth discussion when running through the halftime and post game topics (such as quick blurbs about the games going on around the league, standings/playoff pictures/playoff brackets, etc.)

      6. Sideline reporters (Lisa Salters, Rinaldi, Schefter, etc.) should report in during broadcast from time to time; should also interview a player or coach at halftime or post game (give us an option to skip)

      7. Interactive pregame warmups, esp. in the One, (give us option to skip)

      8. Player introductions!!!, if not for every game, then at least in important games, such as in season openers, all star game, playoff/Finals atmosphere (in all NBA/WNBA modes) (again give us option to skip); Signature handshakes (Cleveland Cavs for example) can even be incorporated into crates

      9. NBA Live's main PA announcer for decades, Al Murdoch, is a legend no doubt, but it's time to get a new younger and more energetic/charismatic voice in there, or at least get some more authentic arena PAs and sounds (especially in like in Detroit, Miami, L.A., New York, etc.). ....And yes I'm aware some authentic sounds are already in the game but more would be great

      10. MAKE LOADING SCREENS GREAT AGAIN, should replace the boring controller layout/ court scenery loading screens with the aforementioned pregame warmups/player intros or have the pregame analysis/ banter in the studio while the game loads up or maybe even see a potential matchups screen for that game, random basketball trivia, etc. (so many options to choose from)

      11. During in game action, Make more usage of ESPN sliding graphics with details such as: spontaneous in game historical stats or lists, highlighting that a player is close to breaking another person's record, historical or current NBA comparisons, who are the league leaders, teams with the best records, etc.

      12. Have a SportsCenter Weekly WrapUp showing the best games, players and teams of the week, etc.

      13. Bring back ESPN Wired for the halftime/postgame segment but this time add coach and player blurbs (for all teams in the game)

      14. Use the ESPN BottomLine ticker in game to see what's going on around the League (very useful for the NBA/WNBA Franchise/Dynasty/Single Player modes); Play Now exhibition games will have Real Time Ticker and show real NBA news and scores when connected online during the NBA season (kinda like NBA Today on 2K's play now menu); (the last few NCAA Football games were masters of using the ticker)
Also integrate the ticker during the Pregame/Halftime/and postgame segments to show your games and games occurring around the league as well.

      15. Bring back the cheerleaders with some more dance moves

      16. Use mascots more frequently , such as them dancing or interacting with the crowd, players, refs or the cameramen

      17. Scoreboards/jumbo screens/panel screens in arenas should have different graphics displays, pre recorded video of the team players hyping the crowd, show individual player stats for both teams or a Live feed of the game being played, not just the score of the game you're playing

      18. Sideline seats should be a slight more closer to the courts than they are at the moment (in certain arenas)

      18. Crowd attire has been copy and paste since Live 14 (I hope I wasn't the only one to notice that). Make sure the crowd is wearing CURRENT home and away players jerseys and/or shirts and apparel with the current Nike logos and not wearing previous years players gear (although that is typical in real life NBA games; if you can mix it, then fine)

      19. Add a few more cameramen under the basket (esp. During the All Star festivities and Playoffs/Finals)

      20. Also should be seeing the audience move around the arena, such as in between rows, on the stairways, going in and out of the tunnels to the concessions, show people walking or standing in the arena lobby, coming out the bathroom you know, the little things (i think today's advanced gaming hardware/systems can handle it). Having the crowd do a wave would be very cool. Also the entire arena standing up and chanting (with a accompanying/optional controller vibration) during the home stretch of a neck in neck game. Have the PA announcers talk about the importance of the game night such as for example "Its Stephen Curry bobblehead night for the first 1000 people in the arena" (similar to past MLB The Show entries) or "score 100+ points and home team win = $1 tacos at a fictional taco restaurant (I remember earlier 2K entries incorporated some of these concepts as automated cut scenes of the crowd around 2k6-2k7). If EA could get more real life sponsors behind NBA Live and promote in-game, that would be huge.

      21. Bring back that game altering atmosphere where the crowd noise will cause controller vibration/rumble and shake players off their game

      22. Each team bench should have AT LEAST 1-2 Assistant coaches, 1 Trainer, injured players at the end of the bench (the injured reserve players), and a Towel/Drink Boy (you only have to give them a simple walking and hand-off animation). Where are the mop boys under the basket in Live 18????

      23. Head Coaches should be sitting down at beginning of the game and each quarter then start getting up and pacing along the sideline within a few minutes.
During last half of 4th quarter during a close game, everybody on the benches are standing up and watching the on court action (esp. In playoff action)

      24. Injured players should be seen on the end of the bench in a suit (fashionable guys like Westbrook should get a unique outfit)

      25. Watch players leave the floor during halftime breaks and have a camera follow/watch them walk into their locker room areas as announcers segway into the halftime segment. Have locker rooms scanned for in game accuracy, even if only we get a look for brief moments of time

      26. When calling timeouts, have the bench walk out onto the court and give the active/returning lineups high fives and other celebrations while they head back to the bench; players should be seen drinking Gatorade or Bodyarmor and wiping with towels during timeout huddles

      27. Have a replay system where refs have to stop the game temporarily and review the tape during controversial calls (NBA/WNBA/FIBA games only). There has to be certain Animations made to be triggered (depending on different aspects of on-court play that need to be implemented as well) in order for such controversial calls to occur (volatile body contact while in air or on floor while contesting an offensive drive to the basket, for example)

      28. End of game interviews with players/coaches; maybe a press conference scene for the postgame rundown

      29. Finals-winning championship celebrations has to be better, should see the press/media storm the floor, players having longer embraces, jumping around, celebrating with each other, majority of the team holding the trophy, waving to the fans, having embraces and talks with the losing squad, etc.
(for the League/Franchise modes) Also for championship-winning teams, give them the ring ceremony/banner rising for the home season opener the following season (if the users' team doesnt win, then acknowledge whichever team won on the news feed)

        Re: NBA Live 19 Wishlist

Other Possible Online and/or Offline Game Modes/Features

        1. Online Fantasy Franchise/EASBA or EASBL- Whatever happened to that radical EASBA or EASBL from Elite 11 that was replaced by the Pro-Am? Incorporate that into game but for use with current NBA players and NBA legends (maybe WNBA at some point). Also give it an online component so that people can run a fictional league against with friends (kind of like Online Association/MyLeague from 2K) with its own stats tracking system, online leaderboards, etc.
Give players the option to squad up with private Lobbies, use and create players custom jerseys, custom arenas etc.; or what about something like Madden's Connected Franchises but with a twist?

        2. Bring back Best of 5/Best of 7 Multiplayer Series against other people online, BUT SEPERATE FROM H2H. Call it "Live Rivalry or LIVALRY/LIVALRIES". Allow for multiple save slots so you can run more than one series at a time with a different team of choice, either against the same person or others

        3. Playoffs/Build a Tournament Mode - bring it back as a separate gameplay mode like past Live entries, simple. Be able to set Brackets manually, automatically or at random . Maybe even make it online for friends to partake. Give us Options (FIBA tourneys, WNBA playoffs, etc.)

        4. LIVE Scenario - Build your in game moments from scratch, setting times, quarters, teams, arenas + arena atmosphere, lineups, playbooks, etc.

        5. Hall of Fame - View NBA/WNBA hall of famers, previous NBA/WNBA champions, award winners , all time league stat leaders, record holders, etc.

        6. All Star Weekend- Everybody's been asking for this since Live 10, bring it back AS ITS OWN MODE . With all the events. (maybe except celebrity game). As a main menu selection and within the offline/online NBA/WNBA experience

        7. LIVE Museum - A visual space that gives some shine to EA's basketball titles of yesteryear (but not the bad ones that don't need a mention), maybe throw in emulated/downloadable ports of the Genesis/SNES titles for fun?

        8. LIVE Locker/ LIVE Suite - as you unlock items (via crates, reaching objectives, etc.) you need to have a dedicated personal locker room/closet for your player where you can view and select to try on your accumulated gear at anytime (should be available in the career mode and in the main menu). With framed vintage jerseys, wall of kicks, racks of t shirts and shorts, trophy case for trophies amd awards gained in career and franchise modes, etc.

        9. BIG Moments- would that make a comeback? I don’t think people want to wait to recreate real life highlights just for RP (this can be replaced by Live Scenario)

        10. Live Season - what about Live Season? Incorporate unlockable crates for completing objective(s). Same for BIG Moments

        11. NBA Today in Play Now - will this ever return?

        12. FIBA/International Play - who has their hands on this license? Having a pool of male and female international players and rosters would be great for roster editing and other team management abilities. Especially with the World Cup coming up in 2019

        13. G-League- if you want to add G-League, it will be welcome (that's if 2K has it non-exclusively)

        14. LIVE Share - create, upload, import/export and Share custom rosters, draft classes, created players, created arena designs

        15. Custom Play Now - Reiterating this point, but Having teams from different leagues (the men vs the women) playing against each other could make for interesting fun in contrast to keeping them separate/exclusive to their own league (ex. Cavs vs. Mercury, Warriors vs Sparks, Knicks vs Liberty etc.). (This is the kind of thing you would need/want in your sports games if you want to sell it well nowadays, especially in today's society with feminism/womens rights movement and support at an all time high)

        16. Replay Editor - but more in depth than Live 10's version of it

GIVE US A PC/STEAM/ORIGIN VERSION OF NBA LIVE FOR THE DIEHARDS, WE'VE BEEN WAITING SINCE LIVE 09....10 LONG YEARS!!!!!!!

If they can add even half of what i mentioned or what everybody else wants, then i can say, "Well at least they actually listened, and not just copy and paste the game from last year and shined it up as a brand new, revamped game"

Agreed. I truly believe they are listening just hope it’s implemented properly. To the masses games need depth. That takes away from some of the time to perfect core gameplay in my opinion. Give me gameplay that is on par with Live 09 and 10(my personal favorites) and grows on 18s foundation and I will be ecstatic.

                Re: NBA Live 19 Wishlist

                1. AI on defense and offense needs to be improved in the league. Too many uncontested shots allowed by teammates. Teammates are inconsistent against better teams. The stars don't step up on offense. Teammates sometimes don't rotate when you have the ball. Computer blocks too many shots. Too many charges being called by the user and not enough by the computer. Teammates in pro am should also play better. Too many instances where my player has to take over.

                2. Implement a trade bock in franchise mode and a scouting system. Implement staff signings.

                3. Free agency should show free agents prior to re-signing players, as in NBA 2k. Show the desired contract for free agents.

                4. Abilities for stars and role players should be different. Stars should come through better in the clutch.

                5. Balance tip dunks. Too many preformed by the computer and not enough by the user.

I would prefer if they went back to Live 14's control scheme (minus using the modifier for signature dribbling). I thought it was easier to perform moves like the floater in 14.

It would be cool if we could edit camera angles. Such as height and zoom.
Like it has been mentioned we need new commentary. If that means scrap all the lines since Live 14.
Nba today feature needs to come back.
Season stats need to reflect the current season.

Before i begin posting, i just want to say:

                        • I understand that most, if not all of these suggestions/improvements to the game can or can't be implemented through a yearly development cycle (might to wait till Live 20 and beyond, and that is if EA plans to go that far with the Live series)
                        • I also understand that certain previous and current sports titles have implemented some of the things I will mention.
                        • This list is not meant to bash Live, only pointing out the negatives and offering suggestions to turn them into even greater positives/benchmarks (constructive criticism)
                        • This list was also made based on my observations playing with Live 18 since its demo version release and full retail release date on Xbox One (I've spent almost 22 days worth of in game time with Live 18, so trust me when I say I know this game inside and out; add me on XBL @ ChrisLive1994 and check if you want to check)
                        • I've been updating this list since last September so technically its never finished
                        • I've also read some of the posts previous to me posting this, and I do agree/disagree with the majority of them, but I do fully respect everyone's personal opinions
                        • I'm open to all positive, constructive feedback on this because I'm well aware you guys are also fans of the game and you want to see NBA Live be a great basketball title in the very dry basketball game market at the moment (You can also add onto the list with any of your suggestions, corrections, etc.)

                        Now lets begin...

Gameplay-wise overall (applies for all modes)

                        1. ACCURATE AS CAN BE FACE SCANS (AND HOPEFULLY BODY SCANS) OF ALL NBA & WNBA PLAYERS AND COACHES IF POSSIBLE (as well as updates through the season as players bounce around). Some players you can just tell did not receive a face scan and they look really bad face wise (especially WNBA). I say instead of just only scanning during offseason and preseason, start as early as the end of the NBA season (post-trade deadline and pre-playoffs) as rosters are more finalized during that point in time.

                        2. Being able to select between :20 timeouts and full :60 timeouts (in all NBA/WNBA specific game modes; if they decide to make Pro-Am more timed 4 quarters based instead of game-of-21, then incorporate it there as well)

                        3. No more running the opposite way while in a crouched down defensive stance when sprinting back downcourt on defense while the player you are guarding is bringing the ball downcourt

                        4. Running animations in general need to be smoother (eliminate that occasional player sliding towards half court or out of bounds while holding/dribbling ball and not moving while doing, I've dubbed it idle sliding)

                        5. When players bobble/lose the ball from good defense or sloppy dribbling, have tie-up animations between players vying for the loose ball, have jump ball occasions on court during the game as an effect

                        6. Need to have Technical fouls (besides defensive 3 seconds), flagrant fouls, for hard block/foul animations; ejections based on certain taunts towards either refs or other players during dead ball time (like after a suspicious foul, walking back to the bench for a timeout, etc.); may be hard to implement at the moment

                        7. Players should not be getting up by themselves after taking and/or receiving a foul (esp. A hard foul) and falling to the floor (especially as quick as they do now). There should be animations of your teammates running to help you up by extending their hand to their fallen teammate, as per usual in real life competition

                        8. The return of in-game injury animations at random. Example: A player holding a knee/leg, or a player taking a bad bump from a foul and not getting up while being surrounded by teammates and having the coach and trainer come to the floor while the mop boys do their thing after the player either gets up or gets helped to the bench/or locker room, then it zooms back to the substituted replacement checking in and shooting free throws or something.

                        9. Teams should start to feel more hostile when a lot of fouls are committed more frequently, back and forth hard team fouls should get coaches and players riled up.

                        10. Fix the directional passing. Make sure wherever you flick the analog stick, the ball should reach the intended target within the passing direction, even if the target is in motion

                        11. Fix the CPU/AI post up game. The post game for playing against the CPU is just them backing down low in the paint and then running in a circle around the restricted area under the rim until it's time to shoot or pass to avoid the shot clock violation. That’s atrocious. Fix this please.

                        12. More Hustle plays, and smoother, more natural looking hustle animations like diving/laying out of bounds going for 50/50 balls, passing the ball while laying down on the court to an open team

                        13. Offensive/Defensive Rebounding animations need A LOT more work. No more warping the loose ball to whoever the AI deems suitable or sliding players in front of other players to grab a loose rebound. No more having players run right above of the ball and have NONE of them pick it up. Very unrealistic.

                        14. Defending the paint should not create a force field animation for the defense to get around of against the offensive opposition. I've had many experiences where I would try to contest an under the basket layup or a tipped in rebound, and my controlled player would either bend his elbow instead of completely stretching his arm/hand upward and completely miss the opportunity to block the shot. Also when an offense is driving into the paint for a dunk or layup, and I'm in direct linear range to contest with a big man (for the sake of argument let's say Damian Lillard is about to attack the paint and I'm using Anthony Davis to protect the rim), my big (Davis) should not be: a) moved to the side and letting a smaller player (slasher archetype or not) move him out of position with a strong dunk due to the animation or b) just let the player drive to the hole and just stand there without being able to set up a charge or even move at all! (even while repeatedly pressing the block button). Responsiveness with the controller buttons should be more of a focus when it comes to defense.

                        15. Eliminate the whole "pass hit him right the head". That’s just a embarrassing play and it happens far too often when your teams style of play requires a lot of ball movement (aka Spurs playbook)

                        16. Fix the alley-oop mechanics. Not really a excuteable play most of the time due to the bad directional passing control. The alley button should initiate the trailing target towards the rim, and not wait to see someone run towards the rim and the ball just get thrown up with no one in the air waiting to catch it.

                        17. Hail Mary/full court/half court shots ALWAYS hit the rim, no matter what spot/angle. That’s not realistic. Stop that from happening every single time

                        18. Hail Mary/full court/half court passes need work as well.

                        19. The missed team passes animations where the ball just bounces past the half court line into your backcourt, then slows to a roll, then just stops at any baseline until someone from the opposing team picks it up and tries to score or if you or your teammates touch it, then it’s a backcourt violation…. Terrible. The ball, when thrown with a good amount of force and either overly misses its target or interfered with/tipped off by a hack, it should just bounce all the way to the out of bounds in its projected direction, instead of just slowly rolling and stopping at the baseline causing weird and chunky looking pickup animations by on court player

                        20. Stop with the balloon/floaty movement of ball physics and add some weight to it. It starts to act like a balloon after watching players deflect it so high in the air or when overthrown passes land in the 15th row.

                        21. No more ball/players clipping/Warping through solid objects, I've noticed a lot of animations that clipping has to happen in order for the animation to work (also no more clipping thru other players, ball ghosting behind the basket, having arms and hands go through the rim on a block attempt/rebound, etc.)

                        22. No more animation delay on caught passes No more of that Madden-like way players catch the ball (the way certain passes are caught have NBA players looking wide receivers when the ball falls into their hands)

                        23. A.I. should be more intelligent in all basketball related areas

                        24. More in game camera angles; add a Depth of Field option to the instant replay for clearer zoom-ins/zoom-outs (4K displays will make animations very clear to the viewer, so its imperative to clean up animations to make them look as natural as possible)

                        25. Need more bench reactions during plays (such as standing , jumping, making funny facial reactions, holding each other after watching a nasty dunk, and esp. When team is on a big run, dishing fancy assists, performing crazy alley oops , making monster blocks, etc.)

                        26. CPU A.I. Animations need to stop preventing the human players from having minimal movement while reaching for the basketball, whether it be a rebound, blocked shot recover, poked loose ball, etc.

                        27. The immediate intentional foul should only require a button press, not hack the steal the button until a foul is finally

                        Play Now

                        1. The team select screen should have a custom roster upload button somewhere on it

                        2. Created teams should be shown as selectable teams

                        3. The pre tip off game settings menu should have option to pick different arenas, not just the home and away teams arenas
Amen to all of this. These changes would put this game on top.

Does anyone on here have any sources to confirm Live 19 is actually dropping?

I got my hopes high for '17 and that was major disappointment, don't wanna get my hopes up again lol

I would say the amount of Hardcore Live Heads that were made game changers confirms Live 19. They were invited to EA Orlando this weekend as well.

                              - we need way more signature jumpers, and free throw.
                              - Nba today feature needs to come and Live season.
                              - let us adjust camera height and zoom.
                              - for play now games, let us receive rp points for gear.
                              - commentary needs a major overhaul, way to many repeated lines. Make it feel more alive, it must match the current season.
                              - all modes need to have more depth.

I just want the ability to invite friends online and an online franchise. How am allegedly AAA sports title in this day and age doesn't have tbis stuff is baffling.

                                The game is fun otherwise.
