NBA Live 19: Learn More About New Gameplay Innovations
This was an excellent read.
1. I can not wait to see a player fly into the 1st row to save a ball.
2. I hope that we have at least 2 or 3 peeps per team with sig animations. Not holding my breath tho.
3. I do believe Franchise mode is about to be some serious fun with these improvements.

Trailer animations still looked to have the signature Live stiffness to me and I wonder if the game not being on Frostbite is why. I noticed Madden's RPM right away in the trailer to the point I almost didn't think it was real game engine especially with the CGI look to it but seeing an actual real gameplay vid told me it's real. Already know Fifa is pretty goog with RPM, altho the players still seem a smidge fidgety in their movments.
Anyway, I hope Live will be better this yr to make me REALLY want to actually make the purchase this time.Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....Comment

This all sounds great. I'm going to need to see the signature movements to really believe it, but if they have substantially improved that area I'll be buying the game for sure. It was really my biggest gripe from last year, the generic feeling every player seemed to have.Comment

This is all I care about here. I know the actual NBA is slowly becoming the same for all teams but there are nuances and differences. If they can ensure Live plays differently for each team, that's a big step forward from last year's title where it started to feel like every team was the exact same....we’ve built an all-new Dynamic Gameplay A.I. system with the goal of making every game feel different. 1. I really hope they fixed transition offense. So many 2on1’s or 3 on 2’s go so poorly. They don’t run the lanes correctly.
2. And more importantly, drop off passes for dunks/layups were the most frustrating thing about the gameplay for me. They either get blocked or it’s a floater bc the big men either step in too slowly or they don’t step in at all and it’s a contested floater/jumper. Sometimes they would literally move away from the basket like Pachulia does in this video I about it here https://youtu.be/WA8W0xfOmTw
