I just saw this in my email, and I guess this means that they're charging full price this year to offer us live 18 buyers a 33% discount. Even with this, I'm still waiting on franchise mode info.

Per WTF we should hear about Franchise in Late July. Sounds like they added a bit. Speculation on my part. But I think us Franchise guys will be pleased.

After paying $40 last year, with this promotion I’m back in for next year. Excited to get it for $35.99 this year even if I don’t like digital. I’m waiting for 2k to announce an exclusive agreement should Live pick up steam.

Lol so if Live makes an impact 2k will get scared and try and get an exclusive deal? I'm sure they are shaking in their expensive boots.

NBA already said no to exclusivity years ago. So I wouldn't worry about it. I know I will be getting this as I need my early basketball fix without paying 100 bucks to do so.

I'd like to see promotions like this for other titles as well. It'd give people more incentive to go digital as well. Since you can't trade-in previous years digital version it at least gives you saving's on the front end when you buy the new one. I've been going more & more digital lately. I still buy physical for certain games but not as much. I bought Live 18 when it was on for $5 & will be purchasing Live 19 for sure. It was the best $5 I spent.

I’m an old cat like you.....all this one stuff doesn’t get on my radar......current teams and real gameplay, that’s where it’s at.

I’m guessing they take out the cavs from the demo if bron leaves and probably but in philly since embiid is the cover athlete.

Gotta give EA major props for this.

If only 2k would offer a percentage off from 2k18's menu similar to this, it goes a long way to show customers appreciation and loyalty.

33% off is a seriously impressive incentive.

EA has made me very mad over the years on some horrible decisions, but this is very very awesome of them and the love to their fans is great for this franchise.
