This by far the best gameplay I've seen come out EA sense I don't know when... This game looks so authentic and realistic!!! I won't bring up the other titl but if someone says anything aboit stiffness and robotic anything, go look at that 2K19 leaked gameplay then jump off an overpass after!! Good job with game EA!! It's looking good..

I'm not that far in, but a few things to note so far.

1. The game definitely looks smoother. Player movement is much improved, and the transition between animation looks better. However, it still looks like there are still only two speeds, either jog or full sprint. Subtle movements on offense still appear to be nonexistent, especially with the ball.

2. I did not like how easily he was able to lock down Chris Paul on defense.

3. Fast breaks seem a little slow.

4. Blocks look great. Players seem to track the ball very well when going up for the contest.

5. Ball physics still look awkward.

6. I don't like that teammate grade (or whatever it's called in Live) goes down for bad release timing. If you take a good quality shot, but mess up the timing, you shouldn't be penalized. You still made the right basketball play. I also saw at least one instance where he played horrible on-ball defense resulting in his man scoring and he was not penalized.

7. I like the ESPN clips integrated into the mode, but I wish they were full screen. I'd rather it look like a cut to the show itself rather than taking up a portion of the screen; it's not quite as immersive. I loved the way they did First Take in Live 18. A similar approach would be welcome here.

The integration is nice and still simple. Doesn't seem like it traps you in some cheesy *** cut scene.
