Switching to Live this year. It looks better than 2K. I know t won’t be perfect but EA has made a huge stride this year. I can’t wait.

I actually didnt know Live was adopting this. Just saw it in an article.

Maddens struggles with RPM, especially when it comes to physics/collisions have me a little worried about how it will be implemented into Live.

Not sure what you mean... Madden got terrific ratings online DUE to RPM. Best part of the gameplay and a HUGE improvement. Gameplay has been terrific, always the complainers, but has pretty good reviews from legit websites.

Anyone who is all out praising Madden and RPM is either blind or not telling the truth. Movements are not really tight enough and physics are non-existent. I can see Live being even more animation heavy than it already is and if it’s anything like Madden, players will be tripping over each other every time they come off of a screen.

            That was Madden 25,

            definitely not this Madden.

I have no issue with people enjoying Madden.

but this is kind of what I was getting at.

RPM does a lot of great things, but the marriage between RPM and things like tacking are off to a rough start. We are seeing a lot of interaction issues that we havent seen previously. As you said, Live kind of already steered toward the a heavy animation route after toying around with ragdoll physics in 14-16. This can be a good and bad thing. Those two mans are reliable. I just hope we dont steer TOO far in that direction.

Things that come to mind from last year are getting a rebound with my big and instantaneously being thrown into a long steal animation and canned blocks near the rim...

I think a lot of the issues with Madden and RPM are that they didn't redo the player skeleton's, so there are a lot of janky issues.

I HOPE.. that with the skeleton's and fully designing around RPM, we'll see some great stuff. And 24th, I absolutely hate that... as much as I hate trying to walk the ball up the court, and getting sucked into a defender/blow by animation that leaves me moving at 100mph, when all I wanted to do was stop over the half court line and initiate my offense.

I heard Fifa 18 had RPM added and I like the way the players feel when I play. If it's anything like that i'd be impressed

All I know is I struggle to understand the concept behind real player motion because it looks far from "real" in the instances I've noticed with Madden.

Regardless, I hope Live turns out amazing. I need a good NBA Live game back in my life.
