Disappointed to see that there is no season mode for the WNBA. Just single games. This is something I would like EA to add in NBA Live 20.

This is why they need you Kill to get their details on point in areas that need it the most, like the WNBA!!

Lol I would love being in charge of the WNBA details. That wouldn't be a job, that would be getting paid to enjoy my passion

EA sports has enjoyed a lot of positive buzz for including female players and the WNBA but I believe that how they handle the female side of things has to be looked at as well. There are 2 sides to a coin, and while it's nice that they included females... To not even remotely try to make it anywhere close to accurate is pretty low. Some may even consider it sexist that the WNBA is painfully such an afterthought in this game.

I don't believe it is sexist personally. I think it all comes down to ratings and what makes money which is why the franchise mode as a whole hasn't been touched. But from EA sports stand point, why not avoid any possibility of being considered sexist and just make male and female ballers have the same experience, and the NBA and WNBA both have Francises...just make them equal....

And are they really arguing that they didn't have time to make a WNBA franchise? I mean, it couldn't have taken but about 30 mins to make their version of the NBA franchise...as bare bones as it is... (kidding of course lol but still, cmon now)

I'm a passionate fan of the WNBA so I was hoping that they got my favorite team looking dope. It was a dissapointment to see the team so wildly inaccurate, both in player appearance and who was playing the most minutes and who started... Way off.

That being said, I will have loads of fun with this game, specifically the WNBA teams. I've followed the teams so close this season and I must say it's been the most fun season to date. That's the beauty of such a small league of only 12 teams...you get to know all of the players and their playstyles so well

Also, Game 5s of both Semi Finals in the WNBA tonight! I hope ATL gets the win to win a ring for Angle McCoutchry who is out with a torn ACL

Facts! I been recently watching the Mercury-Storm series in the playoffs and its crazy how the Live team is not giving any shine on how good the series has been, esp. Games 2 and 4.

For the purpose of fun storylines, if WNBA Franchise is prevalent I'd make a Elena Dell Donne-esque player to pair with Taurasi and Griner making us the "Warriors" of the league. Sending off Taurasi with more championships as my player and Griner mimic a Kobe/Shaq dynamic.

Game 5 of the ATL/Washington series was a WAR!

Very thrilling conclusion to what has been a very hard fought series. I really wanted ATL to win for Angel but the Mystics deserved to win after closing out that well on the road in Game 5!

Biggest take away: Renee Montgomery is a championship point guard! It was so obvious that she elevated her game to that level that few players can get to and was a definite difference maker. I'm not sure that Tiffany Hayes has that next level, and I think it showed down the stretch when the Dream needed a star to take over once Montgomery fouled out. I'm a HUGE Tip Hayes fan and was so excited that she's taken over the team to an extent even when Angel was still playing. However, down the stretch, Montgomerys past Championship experience was so visible and she almost was able to will her new team to the finals. I already can't wait for next season!

I told my wife that I was hoping that the Dream could win a championship for Angel McCoutchry but in a way, I personally feel that Angel would like to be a major part of the championship run and be on the court when she finally gets her first ring. It may be a blessing in disguise that ATL came close but a little short without her

As for the Mercury/Seattle game.... I fell asleep after the 1st Quarter lol. The life of a father of a toddler tires me out too much for late night games. I think I'm getting old... Lol

I was going for Phoenix since Dewonna Bonner is Candice Duprees wife (Duprees is on the Indiana Fever) and also Erica McCalls sister (McCall is also on the Fever lol) and Bonner is a beast regardless. That plus DT being the GOAT. While it's sad that they lost, it was a fun series with lots of new faces stepping up to help the stars. Like Yvonne Turner for the mercury and Rookie star Jordin Canada for the Storm.

Now that the smoke has settled... The Mystics vs the Storm is going to be an epic Finale

I literally have no opinion with who I want to win. Both teams are fun to watch so I'll be happy with either team so long as the series lives up to the hype. It's been such a fun season so I can't wait to see who finally ends up on top!

Just saw a YouTube video showing all of the player ratings on each team!

Kelsey Mitchell is an 83 overall as a rookie! I'm going to be lighting it up with her lol. A'ja Wilson is the highest rated rookie at 88

I'm a huge Duke fan too, so seeing rookie Lexie Brown getting rated a 76 overall was epic. She was part of the "Splash Sisters" at Duke so I'll have to make her the female Steph on live 19 lol

Liz Cambage needs to have a 3 point shot upgrade because she can shoot the long ball and they have her rated as a 25 from deep

Some ratings are pretty comical. Leilani Mitchell is rated better than Briann January... Lol I love both players but cmon now EA....

I also found it funny that they actually tweak the dunk ratings of players. Like they gave Cappie Pondexter a 29 overall dunk rating and Kelsey Mitchell has a 25 overall dunk rating. Seriously? Did that 4 point bump really need to be added into the official roster ratings?

Overall this adds to my hype for this game to come out. I can't wait to use some of these teams after such a fun season!

Not sure how I missed that, watched a few of his videos on the WNBA aspect of Live. Good looks.

I'm guessing after these playoffs a lot of ratings will change. Natasha Howard a 69 seems a bit harsh lol.

I thought the same thing about Howard. She is such a difference maker. She has been to the last 4 WNBA Finals. I believe she is one of those glue players that really pushes teams over the top.

I can't figure out why she'd be rated so low. She's great on defense, rebounding and can score inside and even has a shot. Why in the world would she be rated so low?

Can you play online head to head with WNBA teams?

Now that the full game has been out for awhile, has anybody had some good games, and found players that are beasts on this game?

I haven't upgraded to Live 19 yet. However, since I've been so excited about it, I fired up live 18 to get my fix.

I took the time to check out the actual shooting ratings about half way through the game and it ended up actually helping a lot

I have watched so much of the actual WNBA this season so I assumed that some players that can shoot so well in real life, would just automatically shoot well in the game.... Not true

Alex Bentley who was on the Connecticut Sun in Live 18, and she is an explosive shooter that can get hot in a hurry from 3. I kept on missing good shots with her, but then I checked her actual ratings and she was only a 70 rating from 3pt and a 70 rating from mid range....

These ratings influence the game so much. Jonquel Jones who has the ability to shoot the 3 when left wide open, but she is traditionally a back to the basket Center. However, the game has her rated at 88 from Mid Range and 85 from 3PT!

So I decided to try to shoot a 3 in traffic with Jones instead of Bentley which you would never try in real life, and sure enough... splash! Lol

My point is that I think to truly enjoy the WNBA mode, you should take a quick moment to check the shooting ratings of the players on your team to make sure you are using everybody right. Even as a hardcore WNBA fan, this is important as the ratings can clearly be way off sometimes like in this case with Bentley and Jones

It's Official, the Seattle Storm are the 2018 WNBA champions after sweeping the Washington Mystics!

Hopefully these two teams will be in the Live 20 demo because it was a fun series despite it ending in a sweep.

That being said, after a 29 point 15 rebound game in the WNBA finals...how is Natasha Howard a 69 overall in Live 19?

Please EA, either do better or let us edit the rosters. The names are there but the ratings are way off. It doesn't do the WNBA justice for the ratings to be this off when simply allowing fans to edit them would fix the problem

Unfortunately you cannot

You couldn't in Live 18 either. The ratings are honestly laughable at times. It just doesn't do the WNBA justice to basically just slap random ratings on the players.

That would be like confusing Shaq and Iverson and flip flopping their ratings and not giving us the ability to fix it through editing.

I've honestly never understood why they won't let us edit the ratings. It's our game once we buy it and playing off line only affects us. So why not let us do what we want to enjoy it to the fullest?
