    NBA Live 19 Art Thread

    Hey guys,

Figured I start a thread for art-related requests for NBA Live 19 in the hopes that it catches the attention of the respective member(s) of the NBA Live Art Team. From the time spent playing the Live 19 demo and retail version of the game via EA Access I must say I am thoroughly impressed so far. Although it is not perfect (no game is), it is the breath of fresh air I had been seeking after purchasing NBA 2K year after year. The graphics and attention to detail are truly superb, and as someone who views himself as unbiased, I can say the gameplay is definitely making huge strides in the right direction. However, as a big "visuals" guy (may be minuscule to others), I noticed that a lot of the sock colors of NBA teams in the game doesn't match up with the leg sleeve colors (with the exception of teams like the Pelicans). Unfortunately we don't have the ability to edit them ourselves, so we are at the mercy of the Art Team. For example, the Celtics should be wearing black socks with their Icon and Statement jerseys to match the black leg/arms sleeves (not green socks), and the Rockets should have white socks along with white headbands and arm/leg sleeves for their Icon/Association jerseys. For the Statement jerseys they have went with either black socks/leg sleeves or white socks/leg sleeves. The rule of thumb (for the most part other than the Pelicans) is that if a team wears white leg/arm sleeves the team color should be white for the socks, if the leg sleeves are black then the socks should be black, if the leg sleeves are blue then the socks should be blue, and so forth. Please see the attached pictures from last season for examples.

I’ve stated this in the other games forum as well but Live is at least half way there with the correct shooting sleeves on players. The Nike logo is there just need the nba logo at the top of the sleeve like in the image below to be added now which hopefully can be patched in

they also gotta fix the issue with the #11 on alot of the jerseys in the game. Just looks weird having the numbers so spaced out like "1 1"

Inclusion of sneaker brands such as Li-Ning and BBB should be high priority. Puma, Anta and I think a couple more also need to be added.
