I used my Wing Shooter almost exclusively in Live 18. After I maxed out the build I probably shot better than 90% from 3 and while that's fun, I couldn't really dunk or do anything flashy.

This year I'm going to start out with a Wing Defender. I'm pretty good at playing defense in H2H as it is so having a good defender would be beneficial. So far I'm enjoying it, but the early game growing pains are tough. I can be standing completely still behind the 3pt line with no one anywhere near me, time the shot perfectly, and still brick it..

So far I'm living Live Run again this year. It's silky smooth.

Just switched from a wingshooter to a 6'9 wing playmaker around 221lbs

I am pretty much a walking triple-double

^ my 2nd character is a 6'10" Playmaker (Magic). I love this build. I can still play the 4 or 5 but I an also run the offense, score, rebound, and defend. Everything I can do with my Rim Pro I can do with my Wing Playmaker. But my Playmaker can do SO much more than my Rim Pro

Awesome story that happened one game.

We were down 19-18 during one of those co-op events.

Team mate took a bad 3 pts shot (and he had not been guarding his guy to boot) so as soon as I saw the ball go up I started sprinting the other way...good thing too as they got the board and threw an outlet to the shooters guy. He had a breakaway layup until I threw a complete hail Mary block attempt and sent it flying straight to a team mate who then threw an outlet for an open layup. I got a ton of points for forcing win by two

And then when we won, I got a ton more points for game saving block leading to game winner type of deal.

It was a hype moment.

My exact build. I love being able to do everything. Then, depending on what Trait slot you use, you can do whatever you want. Literally can play all 5 positions.

Literally! Before my original got corrupted i had both LBJ and Magic Icon traits maxed out. Maaaaan, I could do whatever I wanted. Ill be back maxed out by the weekend!

I've got my LeBron icon but I haven't toyed around with it yet. Do you feel any difference?

i can remember i had an 88 for a lot of attributes. sorry, i was more focused on animations and sneakers id unlocked (and lost lol) than the attributes.

I've got my LeBron icon but I haven't toyed around with it yet. Do you feel any difference?

I use Magic Icon PvC and LBJ PvP. only main difference is attacking the basket versus attacking the mid range area.

when i attack basket with Magic Icon i get more "power layups", and can hit 3pt shots more consistently

when LBJ is equipped you better move lmao.

either icon trait gives me ability to create for others and play great defense. also grab boards

6'4 backcourt defender { THE WIZARD } playin for the pelicans loving this build being able to defend top pgs in the west is great

6'4 backcourt shooter { Sniper } so far what i will say about this build is it's very op i can see a nerf coming because you only need a small amount of space and you can't miss

I got 5 now, 6'9 post, 6'4 wing d, 5 11 Ivo, 6 9 or 10 max wt larry, and 6 6 magic. Yea im old. Haha. I want Vince too. I wanna make a pure vert build but I dunno who I'd delete. The wing d and Ivo are kinda redundant because I'm not a pvp volume shooter. But Ivo is one my fav players. Everyone else I have to keep. Given my skill set I'd probably be better off deleting Ivo but I don't wanna try Vince that bad.

Best way to describe it is like a loadout. each icon ability tree has its own bonuses, and you see them on court. but when not equipped you wont.

for instance when i play with LBJ trait icon on i can dunk on folks, muscle ppl on defense, and so on but i cant shoot consistently from distance or mid range.

when i have the Magic icon trait equipped i lose almost all the physicality but i get steals and more consistent shooting along with a post game

so, if im playing a bigger matchup i switch to LBJ. if i have a big man on my team i switch to magic. or if i get mad im missing too many shots ill switch to magic . getting bullied? going back to LBJ

No I feel ya, but what I meant is you can just switch off and on, do you have to make the choices in the icon path for the new icon? Like boost to inside shooting or midrange (permanently.) I didn't pick a new icon and I dunno if I would because I said at fourty but then it said sixty. But I was under the impression that you'd have to grind up again. Or like in an rpg when you subclass that you'd get like 45 lvls in Hakeem and 15 in someone else. So it's a direct switch with all the exp transfered?
