CPU Cheese Moves and Bad Animations

Love the game but there are few animations and cheese by CPU defenders that I'm hoping for a fix.

    1. CPU bump that causes player to stop dribbling. I love the contact but if a cpu bumps you why should it cause you to stop still and be unable to dribble? This happens from few selected CPU player not all but my guess is something with strength? Even then no reason for player to stop dribbling. The bump is okay it causes for more smarter drives to the rim just that immediate stop after bump is over the top and will never happen in real life.

    2. Loose ball automatic jump ball. When you strip the cpu with a steal and dive on the court after the ball it's 99.99% jump ball because the cpu will magically run up to you and grab the ball. There is like that split second you have to pass the ball or else it's a jump ball. Worst part is when you strip and ball goes forward you can't pass back or else it's back court. So you just have to sit there and count to 1 for that jump ball.

    3. CPU over rebounding almost at all times. I have a pretty solid World Tour team with Davis and Embid as Center and PF. When both of them are standing under the hoop and some WNBA player comes and snatches the rebound I can't help but to laugh. Please give good rebounders and elite defenders the edge when it matters.

    4. There is another thread on here about certain layup that has a very high miss rate. The up and under layup for some reason has a high rate of missing even with no defenders are near. I can make more contestant layups vs the up and under when it's about 75% miss rate. As soon as my player goes for that layup I pray it's not a miss.

Those are my top 4 for now there are other few issues but I can live with those. What do you guys think?

Re: CPU Cheese Moves and Bad Animations

I agree w str. I had a slasher Ivo with 67 str but really fast. Deleted cuz I wasn't as good at the game yet, but even now I feel a magic play maker is better. I kinda want to make a new slasher just a little bigger. I don't plan on being a player with under 75 str and if you are playing franchise I'd Def keep that in mind. I don't get to worried about pick ups cuz I can just get the ball back if I want but the cpu can just rip you too. You should control your guys more. It's cheesy but the same cheese the cpu does to you, you can do back to it plus benefit from getting an assist. Learn when to make em shoot. Quick post up is money a lot and the animation is long enough that you can usually run thru and reb if they miss. Sometimes you gotta call it twice tho. It's funny you call it once and they walk up to you like they're gonna set a pick and it's like get your *** back in the paint. Sometimes it becomes completely unresponsive and for like ten seconds.

But a bigger stronger slasher is Def something I wanna make. I like my Larry bird but shooting bores me (even tho that's not all he does) so I might have to delete that. But I do feel it's kinda crazy that I lvled up an Ivo and can get to spots easier with my magic play maker. The ability of play makers in games to slash is always unrealistic to me. Only because they usually end up being the best at it, but since live has wing scorers they're prol not the absolute best. But they are top tier.

Moral of the story Yea its str imo. Also feel that shooting close to the basket non dunk is a miss. Like it dawned on me. I thought it was momentum and that's part of it but seems getting too deep makes you miss. Like an up and under from 10 feet seems kinda money assuming they jump, but if you get near the rim and try to brute force people without dunking it seems to miss.

Also, hold rs up while you guard the cpu. Don't even think u need l2 just position and rs up and it'll bump them the same way. I can force pick ups and get steals but I am still unsure how to consistently trigger that bump steal animations that the cpu gets. It seems to have happened before where I was just moving rs but then another time I got it with steal button. It's definitely a move you can pull off if you time it right but I'm not like a searches for guides online person. Not w bball. I think it goes bump, cut off counter then another input into steal. Can also draw a charge that way but again not sure how to trigger it. Mainly I just bully cpu and any player who allows me close with rs up.

Edit: but I mean that rs up bump has been in live since like 05 when I started playing online. People would be like how u do that. I can't even dribble past half court not fair. Lol I played on pc so people always thought I was hacking or using something to make free throws with the t meter.
