    Did Live Have It Right?

One of my biggest complaints about the game last year was lack of a mid-range game. Im watching the Raptors-Wizards right now and the commentators were talking about the analytics...and the analytic folks says that a 3 point shot missed is a better shot than a mid-range shot made. As ive watched this second quarter i have yet to see a mid-range shot. Its either been 3, drive or get inside the paint at the elbow. It appears the mid-range game is going the way of the traditional big man. Maybe they did have it right.

Yes,actualy this is happening in Nba real games for latest seasons.Teams don't want to shoot mid Jumpers. If you check Leauge's stats you will see that aAlmost every team is taking 30+ 3 point shots per game with a lower team shooting 15 3point shot per game. They have about 15-20 points from FT, 30 points+ from threes and the rest are mostly from Paint.Very limited mid range. Some may not like it but this is the way all teams (not only warriors) approach the game today. If we want live at 5 vs 5 to be like real (for stats etc) they actually have to adjust the game so that teams shot more 3s because now if you play with the cpu warriors at 12 min full quarters, they attempt only about 15 3s. Not even half from what they do in real life
