    Player Lock

Can you change settings in player lock? Currently, when I use player lock, i still have to tell other players when to pass and shoot. Is there a setting I can change to make them have a mind of their own?

I'd like to know the same thing.. I mean once in a while they try to create on their own, but they will never shoot the open shot on their own and I find that quite a hassle. It's pretty much impossible to run any type of play too..
    I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can't

That's the EA player lock, in a nutshell. The idea is sound, but the execution is flawed. I suggest writing EA to complain. That's how we got them to even add this level of help AI, as Position lock was completely "Independent Offensive AI" barren in 2004.

            Re: Player Lock

Normally what I do is when someone has the ball that I would like for them to take the shot, I either put them in ISO, which spreads everyone on the court and gives an open lane to the guy, or set a pick n roll high, and have him shoot an open three by pressing O.

Your right though, they rarely take shots. The best thing to do is just pass it down low and run ISO.

Also I think the reason they dont shoot the ball or try to make a play is because theyre primacy is so low. So what I did before I started my dyansty was edit all the star players (shaq, garnet, kobe, etc) and put their primacy high. not 99, but close to it.

            hope this helps.
