Really! They are doomed then. We all remember what happened to the dreamcast when they didn't have any EA sports games.Originally posted by nbasuperstar40EA not making Nintendo games, wow it over for the Revolution as far as I'm concerned.Comment

Honestly, I'm hurting that Nintendo is getting tossed aside like that. Maybe EA will change their mind. Plus, it's not official yet. Nintendo might have the 3d projection and stuff like that which could be a cool thing to have in the house. Maybe they'll have a new line that makes sports and eventually blows the roof off games. Definitely looking forward to what Live 06 is throwing out there since I've already been sold on 2K since 99.
By the way, I do buy both games so squash that sh!t if you have anything to say.

Hahaha. Worst argument ever.Originally posted by Pratt75Really! They are doomed then. We all remember what happened to the dreamcast when they didn't have any EA sports games.
EA sports games don't sell on Nintendo consoles at all so it doesn't matter.
Nintendo is STILL the highest grossing publisher/developer in the world and by far. Actually, EA is the only company close to Nintendo.
You forget Nintendo has cash cows like Pokemon, GameBoy, and Nintendo DS and ... they don't have to pay royalty fees to put out their games on their own systems like every other non-first party company.
So when Nintendo sells 2 million Zeldas, they make a lot more money than EA does for selling 2 million Maddens.
Nintendo is smart. They know that diehard Nintendo fans by their consoles for Nintendo games and that's why they don't really care for third-party support anymore. They still will make a ton of cash and they have around $8 billion in cash lying around in a bank in Japan.
It would be foolish for them to go up directly against PS3 and X360 because those two systems are driven by third-party support and third-parties know their games don't sell on Nintendo systems.Comment
