Xbox Patches - No More Posting

Effective immediately, all discussion of Xbox patches will be banned. These require modding, and are violations of the TOS.

I am very serious. Have you read the TOS you agreed to?

It goes a little something like this:

Piracy, ROMs, and Warez

Operation Sports has a very strict policy against piracy, ROMs, warez, modding/chipping, and the illegal use of copyrighted material. Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, ROMs, media, mods/chips, or emulators, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, admitting to possessing and/or distributing illegal copyrighted material, or encouraging software or media piracy is grounds for ban depending on the offense. This goes for all copyrighted material, including but not limited to games, movies, music, and videos.

We've been letting it slide, but with more and more posts moving from the patches to "How do I use these?", it has to stop. It's an invitation to discussion of chipping your Xbox, and that's been against the rules from the start.

The thing is, I don't care. The TOS is clear, and everyone here has already agreed to it.

It's not a matter of the illegality of mod chips. The issue is how close modding and piracy are related, and we're not allowing discussion of that sort on these boards.

what about action replay, sharkport etc etc? Is that allowed? this software is also illegal and made by the same shady individuals behind all the Swap Disks and whatnot. I dont see it any different then posting a game save. Oh well... there are many other sites avaliable.

Why are you being so defiant rules are rules and you're trying to blow it for everybody here, if you'd just read the TOS it states what you've been doing is in violation and conflict to this sights policys how hardhead can you be, a lot of guys here use AR and its been good for us so stop your crying before you get us all in trouble or just find another sight where you can stir up problems. You're blowin' it man just stop or leave and quit making it hard on all of us.
